Tripura TET 2023 (Soon): Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus, Pattern, Admit Card, Result

The Tripura TET 2023 is an opportunity for many candidates to get appointed as Teachers in the Tripura state. The recruitment board, Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura recruits teachers for upper primary and lower primary classes. The Tripura TET 2023 exam has two papers; the first paper is for applicants who want to teach classes I through V, and the second paper is for those who want to teach classes VI through VII. According to the announcement, the instructor position would only be available to people with a clear Tripura TET 2023 exam.

The Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura will soon be releasing the official dates of Tripura TET 2023. Candidates who look forward to applying for Tripura TET 2023 need to be aware of all the important dates related to the exam. Tripura TET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura releases a set of eligibility criteria for Tripura TET every year. Candidates are required to fulfill these conditions to be permitted to sit for the examination. The applicants who wish to appear for the exam must make sure that they qualify the eligibility criteria for Tripura TET 2023. Those who fail at doing so will neither be allowed to appear for the exam nor be considered for recruitment. The eligibility criteria for Tripura TET are given below.

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant must be a Tripura resident and possess a Tripura Permanent Resident Certificate.
• The NCTE notification will be followed by the necessary academic and professional requirements.
• They must have obtained at least a 50% grade in class XII-12.
• They must have earned a degree (for T TET 2023 Paper I and II).
• Candidates from the SC, ST, and PH categories would have their qualifying marks relaxed by up to 5%.
• There will be no restriction on an applicant's age for the Teacher Eligibility Test.

Tripura TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Lower Primary Classes

The Tripura TET eligibility criteria for lower primary level (class 1 to class 5) are given in detail below:

The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th or its equivalent with at least 50 percent marks and a Diploma in Elementary Education for the duration of two years.

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th or its equivalent with at least 50 percent marks and a one-year Diploma in Education which is up to the academic session of 2005-2006.

OR

The applicant must have done his/her Senior Secondary (or any equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, which is in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Regulations (Recognition Norms and Procedure), 2002.

OR

The applicant must have done his/her Senior Secondary (or any equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent marks and a one-year Diploma in Education which is up to the academic session of 2004-2005.

OR

The applicant must have done his/her 12th or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) of the duration of four years.

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her Senior Secondary (or an equivalent) with not less than 50 percent marks and a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation and a year-long Diploma in Education up to the academic session of 2004-2005.

OR

The applicant must have done his/her graduation with at least 50 percent marks and a degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Apart from these conditions, a candidate who has done B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50 percent marks in graduation will be considered for being appointed as a teacher in classes 1 to 5 provided he/she mandatorily undergoes a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education which is recognized by NCTE, within two years of the appointment as a primary teacher.

Tripura TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Classes

The eligibility for Tripura TET 2023 for upper primary classes (classes 6 to 8) is listed below:

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation and a year-long Diploma in Education which is up to the academic session of 2005-2006.

OR

The applicant must have done his/her graduation with at least 50 percent marks and a degree of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation with a minimum of 45 percent marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) which is in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education Regulations (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her senior Secondary (or an equivalent) with not less than 50 per cent marks and a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and a four-year B.A./ B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/ B.Sc. Ed.

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education.

Note: A relaxation of 5 percent marks will be given to the candidates that belong to the reserved categories of SC, ST or OBC.

Tripura TET 2023: Application Form

Tripura TET 2023 Application Form will be released online soon. Teachers Recruitment Board is the conducting authority to conduct the Tripura TET 2023 exam. The exam contains two papers, the first paper will be for candidates who wish to become a teacher of class I-V. On the other hand, the second paper is for candidates who desire to become a teacher for classes VI-VII. Those who are qualified and wish to apply for the exam will complete the application form online. Visit the official website to register for the test. Anyone interested in applying for a position at the upper primary or lower primary level may do so.

• First, go to the Tripura Teacher's Recruitment Board's official website (TRBT).
• Register on the official website by providing the necessary information.
• After entering your login information, fill out the application form completely and accurately with your personal and academic information.
• Upload the scanned files in the required format, including passport-sized photos and signatures.
• Use net banking or a debit/credit card to pay the application cost and upload the necessary documents online.
• Send in your application and keep the printed copy for future use.

Tripura TET 2023: Application Fee

The Tripura TET application fee for the exam is provided here. Those who apply and fill in the form will have to make payment of the specified fee at the time of the submission of the application form. The application fee of Tripura TET 2023 can be paid via net banking or by a debit card or credit card.

Tripura TET 2023: Admit Card

Tripura TET Admit Card 2023 will be released soon. Candidates downloaded and printed the Tripura TET admit card from trb.tripura.gov.in. The admit card had details such as the date of the Tripura TET exam, exam centre and instructions. Only the candidates who had completed the online application process before the last date and had paid the fee were able to download the Tripura TET admit card.

Tripura TET 2023 Exam Pattern

The Tripura TET 2023 examination will be conducted in an offline mode. There will be two examinations for Tripura TET, Paper 1 and Paper 2. The applicants who are interested in the job of a teacher for the lower primary classes (i.e., classes 1 to 5) will have to give Paper 1 and the applicants who want to apply for the position of a teacher in the upper primary classes (i.e., classes 6 to 8) will give Paper 2. If a candidate wants to apply for recruitment in both categories and be considered for the position of a teacher for class 1 to class 8, the candidate will have to sit for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The format of questions will be MCQs and they will have multiple choices for answers. The examination will be completely objective and each question will contain one mark. 

• The question paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions.
• Each correct question will carry one mark.
• Candidates do not need to worry about the negative marking, as no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
• Questions are available in two languages i.e., Bengali and English.
• Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to attempt all the questions.
