Common Mistakes to Avoid on CLAT 2024 Exam Day

Performance in CLAT 2024 is not solely dependent on knowledge but also on exam day preparation. Numerous candidates falter not due to a lack of knowledge but because of pre-exam day mistakes. Identifying these CLAT exam day mistakes beforehand is crucial for success in the exam:

Arriving late at the test centre - CLAT authorities will provide the CLAT 2024 exam schedule, typically with reporting starting at 1 pm. To prevent last-minute issues, candidates should aim to arrive by 12:30 pm.

Omitting essential documents - It is crucial for test-takers to carry the CLAT 2024 admit card and a valid photo ID. This includes additional certificates, such as Scribe approval for PWD candidates.

Avoid last-minute reading - Refrain from studying material until the last moment, disregarding peers who may be reviewing notes at the exam centre. Trust your preparation and maintain confidence.

Neglecting exam instructions - Listen attentively to invigilator instructions upon entering the exam hall to avoid errors when providing required details.

Careless reading of questions - Rushing through questions without careful reading is a common CLAT exam day mistake. Thoroughly read each question and its options to prevent misunderstandings and incorrect answers.

Avoid panic - Stress and panic can lead to poor decision-making. Practice relaxation techniques, maintain a positive mindset, and refrain from panicking over challenging questions.

No guesswork - Excessive guesswork is discouraged, considering the application of negative marking. Remember that 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.

Avoiding quantitative technique errors - Exercise caution to prevent silly mistakes in the quantitative techniques section, a crucial aspect of CLAT exam day.
