What is the PSTET Exam? The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is a state-level exam administered by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to establish candidates' eligibility for positions as Primary (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in Punjabi schools.
The PSTET test is held in two shifts and consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. PSTET Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach in grades 1 through 5, whereas Paper 2 is for those who want to teach in grades 6 through 8. PSTET Educational Qualifications 2022
Primary Teachers (Class I to V):
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% or appearing in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma programme.
- Senior Secondary School (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or last year of a two-year Education Diploma (Special Education).
- Graduated from high school or are in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education diploma programme.
Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI to XII):
- Graduation or completion of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma programme.
- Passed or enrolled in a one-year Bachelor of Education programme with a minimum of 50% marks (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45 percent marks or passing or enrolling in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme in line with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% or last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed programme.
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passing or enrolling in a one-year B.Ed. programme (Special Education).
PSTET Application Process 2022
Candidates who have met the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form. Candidates must complete the following steps in order to register for the exam.
Step 1: Go to the official website.
Step 2: On the webpage, click "New Registration and Applicant Login."
Step 3: To register, click on the registration link. A new page will be opened for the candidate.
Step 4: Candidates must select the 'continue' option and provide the requested information.
Step 5: After selecting 'Register Me,' the candidate will be routed to a new page containing the login information.
Step 6: On the new page that appears, enter your login details.
Step 7: After logging in, the candidate must fill out information such as his or her name, email address, and other pertinent information.
Step 8: After inputting all of the required information, upload your signature and photo.
Step 9: Complete the registration payment.
Step 10: Once all of the procedures have been completed. Click the 'Submit' button.

Step 2: A link to download the admit card will appear.
Candidates must enter their PSTET registration number in step three.
Step 4: To obtain the admission card, press 'Enter.'

PSTET Result 2022
The PSTET 2022 exam results are yet to be released. Candidates can verify their results on the PSTET exam's official website. To qualify for the exam, students must achieve a minimum score of 60% on the PSTET. Candidates who fall into the SC/ST/OBC categories are given a 5% reduction in the exam fee.
