The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test, popularly known as PSTET 2023, is an annual test conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to select candidates for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the schools of Punjab. What is the PSTET Exam?
PSTET, Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test, is a state-level exam administered by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to determine candidates' eligibility for positions as Primary (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the government schools of Punjab. The PSTET 2023 test is held in two shifts and will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. PSTET Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach in grades 1 through 5, whereas PSTET Paper 2 is for those who want to teach in grades 6 through 8. Candidates who want to teach in grades 1 through 8 must take both exams.

PSTET Educational Qualifications 2023
Primary Teachers (Class I to V)
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% or appearing in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma.
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma program.
Senior Secondary School (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or the last year of a two-year Education Diploma (Special Education).
Graduated from high school or are in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education diploma program.
Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI to XII)
Graduation or completion of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma program.
Passed or enrolled in a one-year Bachelor of Education program with a minimum of 50% marks (B.Ed).
Graduation with at least 45 percent marks or passing or enrolling in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program in line with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% or the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.

PSTET Application Process 2023
Candidates who have met the eligibility requirements can fill out the PSTET 2023 application form. To apply for the PSTET exam 2023, a candidate must be at least 18 years old. Candidates must complete the following steps in order to register for the exam.
Step 1: Go to the official website.
Step 2: On the webpage, click "New Registration and Applicant Login."
Step 3: To register, click on the registration link. A new page will be opened for the candidate.
Step 4: Candidates must select the 'continue' option and provide the requested information.
Step 5: After selecting 'Register Me,' the candidate will be routed to a new page containing the login information.
Step 6: On the new page that appears, enter your login details.
Step 7: After logging in, the candidate must fill out information such as his or her name, email address, and other pertinent information.
Step 8: After inputting all of the required information, upload your signature and photo.
Step 9: Complete the registration payment.
Step 10: Once all of the procedures have been completed. Click the 'Submit' button.

The answer key is the document that holds the correct answers that were supposed to be written in the entrance examination by the applicants who appeared for the Punjab State Teacher eligibility test. PSTET Result 2023
The PSTET 2023 exam results are yet to be released. Candidates can verify their results on the PSTET exam's official website. To qualify for the exam, students must achieve a minimum score of 60% on the PSTET. Candidates who fall into the SC/ST/OBC categories are given a 5% reduction in the exam fee. Recently, the Punjab High Court, by its historical verdict, announced that an additional 1 mark will be awarded to the candidates who answer the questions of the written test in the Punjabi language.
