Wondering where to apply with a low rank in NEET 2022? We have prepared a list of NEET colleges accepting admissions based on NEET AIQ Ranks 1,00,000 to 5,00,000. Find out how you can apply for 15% AIQ seats in NTA NEET.

NEET 2022 Rank 1,00,000 to 5,00,000 Accepting Colleges

NEET 2022 took place on July 17, 2022. The results have been released on September 7 along with the cutoff list. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon commence the common counselling process under the All India Quota, which will allow the aspirants to grab a seat in the college of their choice. However, due to limited seats, particularly in government colleges, the competition will be high. In this article, aspirants will be able to check out the list of NEET colleges in India accepting admissions for ranks ranging from 1,00,000 to 5,00,000.

NEET 2022 Counselling Process - Highlights

Aspirants eager to know about the NEET 2022 Counselling Process must take note of the following:

  • Nearly 355 medical colleges and 125 dental colleges accept NEET scores for admissions

  • 15% of all the medical seats in government colleges are reserved for qualified candidates under the All India Quota.

  • The remaining 85% of the seats are allotted to suitable candidates under the State Quota counselling.

  • All the states will conduct admissions as per the MCC guidelines. However, this does not include the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Candidates belonging to J&K will be eligible to apply for the State Quota seats.

NEET 2022 Ranks Vs Score

NEET scores 2022 are marks that the candidate has obtained in the entrance exam while NEET rank 2022 is the candidate’s overall rank based on the marks achieved. Thus, to calculate NEET 2022 rank vs score, candidates will first need to know their tentative marks.

As you know, the full marks allotted to NTA NEET is 720. There are 180 questions in the exam paper and the marks allotted to each question are +4. While candidates will lose 1 mark for each wrong answer, no marks will be rewarded for questions left unattempted. Since the NEET 2022 Answer key along with the result has been published, candidates can use their scores and NEET All India Ranks to find relevant colleges.

How to Calculate NEET 2022 Ranks Vs Score

Here are the steps to evaluate NEET scores 2022:

  • Write down the serial number of questions asked in NEET 2022

  • Write +4 beside the serial numbers of questions answered correctly

  • Write -1 beside the serial numbers of questions answered incorrectly

  • Add up all ‘1’s to be the total negative marks, ‘N’

  • Add up all ‘+4’s to be the total positive marks, ‘M’

  • Subtract N from M

  • The result you get from subtracting (M – N) will be your expected NEET 2022 Score
