The entrance examination for Odisha D.El.Ed Admission in 2023 will be conducted in an online (computer-based) format.

  • The duration of the test will be 90 minutes, with a total score of 90 marks.
  • The test will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs), where candidates are required to select the correct answer from four options provided.
  • The exam will consist of two sections:

- Section I: This section will include 30 questions, carrying a total of 30 marks. The questions will pertain to English, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Teaching Aptitude.
- Section II: This section will encompass 60 questions, amounting to 60 marks. The questions will cover Mathematics, Social Science, Science, and one chosen language.

  • Candidates will receive 1 mark for each accurate response, while an incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.

National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped Hyderabad does not offer any certificate course in special education. They offer the following courses: B.Ed in Special Education (ID) and D.Ed in Special Education (IDD). The seat intake capacity is 33 and 35, respectively. There are no vacant seats for B.Ed course. However, only 18 have enrolled so far for the diploma course.

Guru Nanak College of Education for Women is an Educational College. The primary programme provided by the college is a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme with a seat intake of fifty seats. It is a regular programme. The institution offers seats for a variety of teaching subject combinations, including physical sciences, mathematics, English, social studies, economics, and commerce. The annual fee structure of the course is Rs 45,000 including tuition fees, library fees, laboratory fees, admission fees and more.
