Maharashtra B Pharmacy Admission 2024 exam date has been revised due to Lok Sabha elections. The entrance exam for Pharmacy Admission in Maharashtra is now scheduled for April 22 to April 30, 2024. The last date to apply for Maharashtra B Pharm Admission was March 8, 2024.

Maharashtra B.Pharmacy Admission 2024

Maharashtra B Pharm Admission 2024 exam dates have been revised by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra. Previously the MHT CET exam was going to be conducted from April 16 to April 30, 2024 onwards. Due to the Lok Sacha elections, the Maharashtra B Pharma admission test is scheduled for April 22 to April 30, 2024. The entrance exam will be held in two shifts; from 9 am to 12 pm in the morning shift and from 2 pm to 5 pm in the afternoon shift.

The last date to apply for Maharashtra B Pharmacy Admission was March 1, 2024 (Friday). Online submission of applications after the deadline was available from March 2 to March 8, 2024 with INR 500 as late fee charge for all category applicants. However, the release date of Admit card is yet to be disclosed by the concerned authorities. Admission to B Pharmacy in Maharashtra will be done based on the marks secured by the candidates in the MHT CET Exam 2024. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the Maharashtra B Pharmacy Admission 2024 is to pass the higher secondary examination in the science stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

MHT CET B Pharma Admission 2024 is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The entrance test will be 180 minutes long and overall 200 questions will be asked from two groups comprising Physics Chemistry Mathematics (PCM) and Physics Chemistry Biology (PCB).   1. Candidates who completed SSC and HSC/Diploma in Engineering/Bachelor of Science from a Maharashtra educational institution are eligible.

  3. Also eligible are candidates with parents working for the Government of India posted in Maharashtra, reporting before the last application submission date for CAP.

  5. Additionally, those passing Class 12 from schools in disputed regions between Maharashtra and Karnataka with Marathi as their mother tongue are eligible.

All India Category: All applicants who are permanent residents of India are eligible for the entrance test.

Minority Candidates: Eligibility is extended to candidates from specific Linguistic or Religious Minority Communities in Maharashtra, as per the Government of Maharashtra's notification.

Children of NRI/OCI/PIO or children of Indian workers employed in Gulf countries or Foreign Nationals are exempted from MHT CET 2024 for admission purposes.

Academic Qualification:

Apart from the nationality and domicile criteria, candidates are also required to have the academic qualifications required for B pharmacy admission 2024 to the courses. The academic qualifications for the test are as follows:

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 in the stream of science from a recognized board of education.

  • The candidates must secure an aggregate score of 50% in the qualifying exam, with compulsory subjects like Physics and Chemistry with one other subject from Mathematics or Biology. Reserved category candidates from Maharashtra must have secured 45% aggregate score in the subjects mentioned above.

  • Candidates should have secured a non-zero score in the CET exam conducted by the Competent Authority.

  • For All India Candidates: Candidates should have secured a non-zero score in NEET or equivalent CET exam, in all the subjects. The preference would be reserved for those who have a valid score in NEET over any other CET exam.

The State CET cell accepts application forms for the courses in online mode only. In order to complete the application form, candidates were to comply with the following steps:

  • Step 1: All candidates must register on the official website @mahacet.org and generate their login credentials.
  • Step 2: After registration, candidates can fill the Maharashtra B Pharma Admission 2024 application form.

The Maharashtra B.Pharmacy Entrance Test is held in online mode, is known as the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates planning to appear for the exam must be aware of the syllabus and exam pattern for Maharashtra B.Pharmacy Admission 2024.

Maharashtra B.Pharm Guidelines for Uploading Photographs and Signature

During the application process, candidates were required to upload a photograph of themselves and their signatures. Here are the rules for uploading photographs and signatures under the MHT-CET application form.

  • For Photograph:

    • Candidates are to take a recent color passport-size photograph of themselves, which has been taken against a light or white background.

    • A digital copy of the photograph is required, therefore, candidates should either scan the image or get a digital copy from the shop.

    • The file size for the photograph should lie between 15 KB to 50KB. Any images that do not adhere to the file-size regulation will not be accepted by the system.

  • For Signature:

    • Candidates are required to provide a signature of themselves on a white paper, using a black ink pen.

    • While scanning and saving the digital copy of the signature, candidates will be required to scan the image in 200 DPI (Dots per Inch).

    • The file size of the scanned image should lie between 5 KB to 20 KB, in JPG format.

Once the images have been uploaded successfully, candidates could see the result of the same on the screen. All candidates must ensure that the images that have been uploaded are as per the directives of the State CET Cell.

A crucial element of completing the application form is the payment of the Maharashtra B.Pharm Application fee 2024. As per the information brochure released by the State CET cell, candidates were required to pay the following application fee:

  • Using the Login ID and password, which is unique to every candidate, aspirants must log in on the official website.

Note:The admit card issued for each and every candidate is just a certificate that will allow the students to sit for the entrance exam and does not certify that they meet the required eligibility criteria.

Further, candidates who have submitted an incomplete application form are rejected from appearing for the Maharashtra B.Pharmcy admission process. Students are not allowed to submit the application forms twice. However, if candidates wish to submit the application form again, they will first be required to cancel the previous application form. It is important to note that the application fee which has been paid for the cancelled application form will not be refunded at any cost.

Hello Akanksha,

Since you have not mentioned the fees for which courses, therefore, providing you with the annual fees for all the courses offered at ISF College of Pharmacy. The annual fees for B.Pharm is Rs 79,200, for M.Pharma is Rs 1,00,000, D.Pharma is Rs 36,300 and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences is Rs 79,200. The course duration of B.Pharma is four years, M.Pharma is 2 years and D.Pharma is 2 years.

No, you can not add "Dr." after completing the D.Pharm course.
