Thanks to movies and television, we’ve all experienced fantastical worlds that could never exist on our Earthly plane. Even if we don’t typically enjoy the fantasy genre, we’ve program seen these effects in action — whether in cinema, commercials or even video games. This post explores how to create these worlds using visual effects. So what is VFX? How and why do filmmakers use it? We’ll explore VFX by defining the term with epic examples from some of your favorite films.
Multimedia is used in various areas of work such as entertainment, advertising, publishing, digital media, gaming, motion graphics, and more. This field, thus, encompasses varied disciplines in which a student can gain specialization and choose as a career option.
At LPU the program emphasizes sound theoretical grounding in principles and process of animation film making with extensive practical works, it enables proficiency in students to handle and deliver industry-standard projects/output.
The Eligibility Criteria is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. The program focuses on developing drawing and sketching skills through observation and study of light and shade. The student will be able to Acquire knowledge of the elements and principles used in designing, attain skills to choose and implement vector and raster tools to create a visual design.
The program helps develop competence to work in a team to execute visual design concepts utilizing the visualization, drawing, sketching, and painting skills, Design and execute sequential art and illustration in the form of comics and storyboards for use in films, games, and other related media.
Students will be able to analyze and execute projects following proper pipeline and management of time.
This course will help to create and execute digital painting using appropriate software at par with industry standards.
This course will help to develop concepts and visually represent concept/creativity through drawing.
Explain the history of animation and also provides an insight into various mediums of communicative media.
Students will be able to convert ideas to stories and present the same through proper format.
A set of four elective courses in a related area to develop a competency beyond the major area
Gaming, 3d visualization, conceptual design, Graphics, Effects, and simulation.
The fee for the program is Rs 120000 per semester. However, you can get a waive off on the program fee by appearing in LPUNEST. The highest salary offered was 6 LPA while 3.6 LPA average salary.
