Dos and Don'ts for TS EDCET 2023 Counselling Process

The TS EDCET 2023 counselling process is conducted in 2 phases, Phase I and Phase II. However, the exam conducting authority organised a special phase of the counselling process that started on November 6 and will continue till November 17, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates had to register themselves and complete the certificate verification process by November 7, 2023. To exercise the web options, candidates need to visit the website, edcetadm.tsche.ac.in to choose their option. The link has been activated today, November 8 and will be active till November 9, 2023. Candidates can also edit their submitted option entries by November 10, 2023. According to the web options submitted, the TS EDCET 2023 seat allotment for the special phase of counselling will be announced on November 14. The provisionally allotted students can report to their allotted colleges from November 15 to 17. 

The official notification for the counselling schedule for TS EDCET 2023 was released by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) on September 19, 2023. This year Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda will be conducting the entire TS EDCET 2023 counselling procedure. The counselling process started with online registration and document verification. TS EDCET 2023 web option Phase I was released on October 3, 2023. Eligible candidates need to exercise their web option by October 5, 2023. The web option can be edited on October 6.

TS EDCET is a B.Ed entrance exam and clearing it will help candidates to study the B.Ed course in the participating colleges of TS EDCET 2023. The entrance exam was conducted on May 18, 2023. The counselling schedule will be released by the exam conducting body after the declaration of the TS EDCET 2023 result. Dos for TS EDCET 2023 Counselling Process

To appear for the counselling round, candidates have to make sure that they know all the Dos of the TS EDCET 2023 counselling process. Follow the instructions given below to complete the counselling process in a smooth way.

  • The first thing to do for the candidates to appear in the TS EDCET 2023 counselling is to register themselves by creating a login and paying the registration fee.
  • Only the candidates who have received more than the prescribed qualifying marks in TS EDCET 2023 can participate in the TS EDCET counselling process. 
  • To attend TS EDCET 2023 counselling, a good internet connection is a must. On the counselling date, applicants can attend the session either from their homes or the helpline centres that provide a good internet connection. 
  • The TS EDCET 2023 counselling registration process includes submitting some important documents. The complete list of documents required for the counselling process is mentioned below. 
  • To complete the counselling process, candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs 800 (for UR candidates) and Rs 500 (for SC / ST candidates) for registration and verification. 
  • The counselling fee can only be paid online (Credit Cards / Debit Cards / Internet Banking) in favour of the 'Secretary, TSCHE', Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
  • Once the verification process is over, students can collect the receipt of the certificates from the counter. If the receipt contains any discrepancies, they are requested to get them corrected as soon as possible. 
  • After this, candidates can exercise the TS EDCET 2023 web options by logging into the TS EDCET official website using their admit card number, date of birth and rank in the exam. 
  • During the TS EDCET web options process, aspirants are required to choose their preferred college from the list of participating colleges in TS EDCET 2023 and the degree course that they want to pursue. 
  • The TS EDCET 2023 seat allotment will be provided to candidates who have exercised their web options within the time limit. 
  • Candidates who will be allotted seats can then download their provisional TS EDCET 2023 seat allotment letter. 
  • Once the seats are allotted, applicants can either accept or ask for upgradation in the next round or exit from the TS EDCET 2023 admission.

Don’ts for TS EDCET 2023 Counselling Process

Some of the Don’ts of the TS EDCET 2023 counselling process have been provided below that students must avoid in order to complete the counselling procedure successfully.

  • Candidates whose names appear on the TS EDCET 2023 merit list must not forget to register themselves for the counselling process.
  • Submission of documents is an important part of the counselling round, therefore, do not provide invalid documents as this will lead to a rejection of your application. A verification round will be conducted where all documents submitted will be verified.
  • Without paying the counselling registration fee, the counselling procedure will not be completed and candidates won’t get any seats in their choice of colleges.
  • Do not wait till the last date to register for TS EDCET 2023 counselling. 
  • After the candidates have been allotted their seats, they will have to pay the course fee. But, after all these, they cannot request to participate in the 2nd round of the counselling process.

Documents Required for TS EDCET 2023 Counselling Process

To participate in TS EDCET 2023 counselling, candidates need to have some essential documents. Take a look at the list of documents required for the TS EDCET 2023 counselling process:

  • Class 12th mark sheet
  • Study certificates (from Class 9th till graduation)

Candidates can access the college-specific allotment list in PDF format via this website. Applicants must input their login information, such as their hall ticket number, date of birth, and rank, and then click the login button on this page.

The admission authorities of Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education Kathua are yet to announce the admission dates on the official website. As per the previous year's admission dates, the authorities are likely to begin the admission process for the current session soon. The B.Ed programme at Smt. Santra Devi College of Education has an intake of 200 students. Admission is based on merit and is done through University Counseling. You must have a Graduation/Master's degree with at least 50% marks to secure admission.
