JEE Main 2024 Exam Date: Application Form Date, Admit Card Date, Result Date

JEE Main 2024 Exam Dates: The National Testing Agency has conducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions i.e. Session 1 in January and Session 2 in April. The JEE Main exam dates 2024 for Session 1 was January 24 to February 1 and Session 2 exam dates were April 4 to 12, 2024. JEE Main 2024 exam was conducted in two shifts in CBT mode for both the sessions. Shift 1 exam was conducted from 9 AM to 12 Noon and Shift 2 exam was conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM. The 2024 JEE Mains session saw 14,15,110 students appear for the exam including both sessions, compared to 11,12,000 students who took the exam in 2023. This is a massive 3+ Lakhs jump in the number of JEE takers year on year, a living testament of the growing popularity of the exam. 

JEE Main Final Answer Key 2024 for Session 1 was released on February 12 and JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 Result was announced on February 12. Similarly, JEE Mains Answer Key 2024 for Session 2 was out on April 21 and JEE Mains Session 2 Result was out on April 24. JEE Main Important Dates 2024

JEE Main Admit Card 2024

JEE Main 2024 admit card was released separately for both JEE sessions. For Session 1, the Admit Card of JEE Main was released on January 25, 2024 and for Session 2, the Admit Card of JEE Main was released on April 1, 2024. For JEE Main 2025, the Admit Card is expected to be released 3 days before the date of JEE exam. In order to download the Admit Card, candidates will have to login using their application number, date of birth and security pin. The JEE Main admit card 2025 will contain important information pertaining to the exam like the name of the candidate, gender, exam centre details, exam date and shift allotted, roll number and exam day guidelines. 

JEE Main Advanced City Intimation Slip Dates

Advanced City Slip of JEE Main is the intimation slip that is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to inform candidates about their exam city and test centres so that they can make necessary arrangements to reach the test centre well in advance. JEE Main Advanced City Intimation Slip 2024 was released by the authorities separately for two sessions. Session 1 advanced city intimation slip was released on January 17, 2024 and session 2 city slip was released on March 28, 2024. Students had to login using their credentials to download the JEE Main city slip. 

JEE Main Answer Key Dates

The National Testing Agency had released the provisional JEE Main 2024 Answer Key on February 6, 2024 for Session 1 and April 13, 2024 for Session 2. Candidates were able to challenge the JEE Main provisional answer key by logging in using their credentials and paying a sum of INR 200 per question. By reviewing the Provisional Answer Key of JEE Main 2024, NTA released the Final Answer Key for Session 1 on February 12, 2024 and Session 2 on April 23, 2024. 

JEE Main Result Dates

JEE Main 2024 result was released in the online mode for Session 1 on February 13, 2024 and for Session 2 on April 24, 2024. JEE Main result 2024 was released in the form of a scorecard and students could download the scorecard using their login credentials like application number, date of birth and password. The scorecard will comprise of details like the JEE Main roll number, JEE Main registration number, Marks scored in JEE Main exam, Total marks and All India Rank of the candidate. 

JEE Main Merit List Date

The merit list of JEE Main was released along with the result for Session 1 on February 13, 2024 and for Session 2 on April 24, 2024. NTA released the JEE Main Merit List 2024 after considering the highest scores obtained by the students who appeared in any one of the sessions of the JEE Main exam or both. Candidates were able to download the JEE Main merit list by logging in using their credentials like roll number and date of birth. 

JEE Main Counselling & Seat Allotment Dates

JEE Main 2024 counselling process will commence tentatively from June 10, 2024. Joint Seat Allocation Authority will conduct the JEE Main counselling process 2024. Candidates who have successfully qualified the JEE Main 2024 exam will be eligible for taking part in the JEE Main Counselling. The counselling process of JEE Main comprises of registration, choice filling, seat allotment result, seat acceptance and finally reporting at the allotted institute. The seat allotment result will be released tentatively on June 27, 2024.
