Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject. Only students with a degree of Bachelor in Arts in Education (B.A. in Education) are considered for admission for the course of M.A. in Education.
  • The student must have completed graduation from a recognised university or college that has received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC).
  • The student must have secured at least 50 percent marks in graduation.
  • The student must have cleared the exams of all the subjects undertaken at the undergraduate level.
  • The candidate must have completed his/ her degree of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Admission to M.Ed is allowed only after obtaining a B.Ed degree.
  • The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in any stream prior to his/ her B.Ed course. This is the eligibility for getting admission to the course of B.Ed.
  • The colleges or universities from where the candidate has pursued his/ her academia must be recognised by the UGC.
  • It is mandatory for the student to have cleared all the exams of all the subjects and have secured at least 45 percent marks in B.Ed.

Admission Process

The admission of students for the course of M.A. in Education is usually done through merit-based selection. The marks that the applicant has secured in his/ her undergraduate degree are considered for admitting him/ her to the course. Some colleges, however, conduct their entrance exams for shortlisting students.

Most of the colleges and universities that admit students to the course of M.Ed, do so through their own entrance exams. Students who are eligible to appear for the entrance test are allowed to sit for it and their performance in the exam determines whether they will get admission or not. Some colleges do not conduct any entrance test and admit students on the basis of their merit in the overall academic record.

Dear Student,

Yes, you need to qualify MAH B.Ed CET to get admission to B.Ed courses at Rajgad Dnyanpeeth's Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya. The admission is done through the counselling process. 

The minimum eligibility for admission to B.Ed Mathematics at Rajgad Dnyanpeeth's Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya is to pass a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised institute. Since you have completed your B.Tech, you can apply for admission. However, you must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam.
