How to take Admission in IMI Delhi: Exam, Cutoff and Selection Criteria

International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi has a well-structured selection criteria. The selection process of IMI Delhi has some additional tests unlike most of the other B-school in India. Apart from the entrance exam scores, Writing Test and Personal Interview, the institute also takes Extempore Speaking and Psychometric Test in the second round of selection process. Selection stages at different IMI campuses can different but the procedure is same. Check out the different entrance exam scores accepted by the Institute.

The cutoff for these exams can vary depending on the IMI campus for which you want to apply. IMI Delhi has the highest cutoff among the three campuses as it is the oldest and most preferred campus. Following is the estimated cutoff if IMI:

Different rounds of selection process at IMI:

PGDM / PGDM-HRM / PGDM-B&FS Apart from the CAT / GMAT / XAT score, selection is done on the basis of a candidate’s academic performance in class 10th, 12th and graduation.

In the second phase, IMI conducts:

  • Extempore speaking
  • Essay Writing
  • Psychometric Test
  • Personal Interview
Final selection is done on the basis of a candidate’s performance in all these tests and score secured in Phase 1.
PGDM Executive Work experience of a candidate, application strength and score secured in either CAT or GMAT will determine whether a candidate is eligible to proceed to the Phase 2 of selection or not. In this phase, the candidate has to undergo the Psychometric Test, Writing Test and Personal Interview. Combined score of both the phases is evaluated for final selection.
FPM Performance in post-graduation and other past academic records are evaluated for selecting candidates. Research work done by the candidate is also considered. Those candidates who have cleared the first round are called on campus for Personal Interview round.

About the Institute:
