M.Tech, abbreviated as a Master’s in Technology is a postgraduate degree that is pursued by the students after completing their (B.Tech). M.Tech is a two-year degree program where the students opt for a specific course in which they want to pursue their master’s. The specialistions offered in the M.Tech program include Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc.
M.Tech can be pursued as either a regular program or a part-time degree program. The applicants who hold a degree in diploma and acquire certain work experience can also apply for the M.Tech program. M.Tech in India is accredited under the aegis of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission of India (UGC), and National Board of Accreditation (NBA). M.Tech Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021
In order to be eligible for the M.Tech entrance exams 2021, students need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
The students must have pursued their bachelor’s degree from any recognised board/university.
The student must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved caste) in their UG degree.
The applicant must have completed his 10+2 in the science stream with major subjects as physics/chemistry/maths.
Applicants who have pursued a 5 years course as a science program and acquire a master’s degree in science can also apply for the M.Tech program.

M.Tech Course Fee 2021
On average, the fee structure for the M.Tech course in India ranges between Rs. 30,000-50,000 per annum. It is advisable to prepare well before going for an entrance exam by looking into the syllabus and practising the previous years' entrance exam papers.
