The Kerala Board releases the Kerala Plus Two History Model Paper on the official website. Students are advised to download and practice the Kerala Plus Two Model Paper to get familiarised with the current syllabus and pattern. According to the History Model Paper, 60% weightage is given to thinking skills for conceptual attainment and 40% to thinking skills for conceptual generation. 15 to 20% weightage of total scores is given to objective-type questions and up to 20% weightage of total score is given to essay-type questions. The total time limit of the question paper - is two hours for 60 marks and 2.30 hours for 80 marks question papers with an extra cool-off time of 15 minutes.

Once the candidates who took the Kerala Plus Two exam have calculated their percentage, they can see if they met the passing requirements that the board announced. To pass a subject, a candidate needs to pass it with at least a 30 percent score in each topic and a minimum total grade of D+. In addition, passing requires a total score of 30%. An additional exam is required of any applicant who achieves a grade of thirty percent or less overall but less than thirty percent in one subject.
