The Maharashtra State Board has released the Maharashtra HSC Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026 along with the detailed chapter-wise and unit-wise marking scheme. This exam pattern is essential as it outlines the structure of the question paper, the types of questions that will be asked, and the weightage assigned to each chapter.  The Maharashtra HSC Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026 carries a total of 100 marks, which includes 80 marks for the written exam and 20 marks for internal assessment or practicals. The written exam is divided into four sections featuring a variety of question types, such as multiple-choice questions, very short answer questions, short answer questions, and long answer questions. Internal choices will also be provided in Sections B, C, and D. The students will have to appear for a theory exam of 80 marks and 20 marks are for the internal assessment. There will be 4 sections in the Mathematics question paper. The students will have to answer multiple choice questions, short questions, and long questions. Generally, the questions will be of 1, 2, 3, and 4 marks. While answering the questions, students should check the number of questions to be attempted, as some of the questions will have internal choices as well.
