UP Board Class 12 Chemistry Syllabus 2023-24: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) published the UP Board 12th Syllabus 2023-24 for Chemistry on its official website at upmsp.edu.in in PDF format. Students can download the UP Board class 12 Chemistry syllabus 2023-24 from this page as well. The UPMSP 12th Chemistry syllabus 2023-24 consists of a total of 10 units which includes Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, d- & f-Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkane & Haloarene, Alcohol, Phenol, & Ether, Aldehyde, Ketone & Carboxylic Acids, Amines, and Biomolecules. Among these units, Unit 2Electrochemistry will carry the maximum number of weightage of 9 marks in the exam. The second highest weightage carrying unit is Unit 8 Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids.
Apart from this, the marks weightage of UP Board 12th Chemistry Syllabus 2023-24 is evenly distributed among the units. The total marks for the UPMSP 12th Chemistry paper are 100 marks, distributed between two parts: theory paper for 70 marks and practical paper for 30 marks. Furthermore, the UPMSP Class 12 Chemistry practical will be held in two ways- External Evaluation and Internal Evaluation. UP Board Class 12 Chemistry Practical Syllabus 2023-24
To clear the UP Board Class 12 Chemistry exam, on the theory paper students will need a minimum of 23 marks out of 70 and 10 marks out of 30 on the practical exam, which makes a total of 33 marks.
