UP Board Class 12 Practical Exam Syllabus 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will release the UP Board 12th practical Syllabus for the academic session 2025-26 . The class 12th practical exams will be mainly held for the Science stream subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology alog with a few Arts stream subjects like Geography. The state board will conduct the UPMSP 12th practical exams for 30 marks, and the remaining 70 marks will be allotted for the theory exam as per the CCE Exam pattern. The class 12th practical exams will be held in the respective schools by external examiners appointed by the regional offices of the UPMSP.

UP 12th practical exams 2026 will be held in two phases. The first phase of UP Board 12th practical exams will be held in the first week of February 2026, while the second phase will be from the first to the second week of February 2026. The minimum passing marks for the UP Board class 12 exam 2026 are 33% in both theory and practical/internal assessment components to pass each subject. For 30 marks practical exams, you need to score a minimum of 10 marks (which is 30% of the total marks) to pass. In the theory papers, which are conducted out of 70, you need to score at least 23 marks (33% of 70) to pass. Which subjects have practical exams in UP Board Class 12?

UP Board Class 12 practical exams are held by the external examiners who are appointed by the regional UPMSP offices. The class 12th practical exams are held at the respective schools. Majorly, students of Science stream have to appear for the practical exams. The subjects that have practical exams in the UP Board Class 12 are:

How are Class 12th Practical Exams Conducted by UP Board?

The UPMSP conducts the Class 12th practical exams for a few subjects where it appoints examiners from their regional offices. Respective schools cannot appoint the external examiners; the board will appoint them for each school. The board will ensure that there are adequate CCTV cameras at each exam center, and the recordings should be maintained properly and can only be provided to the UPMSP at its request. The board conducts the practical exams in two phases, with different districts covered in each phase. The first phase of UP 12th practicals will be conducted in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti, while the second phase will be in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur Mandals districts. The examiners evaluate students based on their ability to perform experiments, the accuracy of their performance, how they respond during the viva voce, and their overall performance.
