Chhattisgarh Class 12 Grading System has been defined by CGBSE Board for CGBSE 12th exams. The board will release the CGBSE 12th Result 2024 in the form of grades. In the grading system set by the CG board, students can find the grade points and grades to be allotted against the marks that they have obtained. The Chhattisgarh board follows a nine-point CGBSE 12th grading system 2024, where the highest grade is A1, and the lowest being E2. Students will be awarded grade A1 if they secure 100 to 91 marks, while they will be given grade E2, if they score between00-20 marks.

Chhattisgarh Class 12 Passing Criteria 2024

CG board class 12 students need to score at least 33% marks in each subject. The students must also score 33% in aggregate to pass the Chhattisgarh Class 12th Exam 2024. The students scoring the highest marks will get an A1 grade and the students with the lowest marks will get a grade C.

Each subject is of 100 marks, out of which 70 marks are assigned to theory and 30 to practical marks. Students need to perform well throughout to get a good score. 20% weightage is provided to internal assessment and 80% weightage is given to final board exams. No negative marking will be there for incorrect answers.

Students who could not get the required passing marks in CG board Class 12 exams, would be provided a second chance. They can fill in the registration form for CG board Class 12 Compartment exams and appear for the subjects that they could not clear in regular board exams. 

Important Points for Chhattisgarh Class 12 Grading System 2024

The practical for English, Hindi, History, Sociology, Economics, and Political Science will be for 20 marks. Whereas, the practical for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, and Psychology will be for 30 marks.
