MBE HSSLC Exam Pattern 2025-26: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) will release the MBSE HSSLC exam pattern 2025-26 soon. It is expected that the exam pattern will remain the same as in the previous year. However, if there are any changes, the board will notify them, and the updates will be provided here. The Mizoram Board Class 12 exams include both theory and practical papers, with each paper carrying 100 marks and a total duration of 3 hours. To qualify, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. For most subjects, the paper is divided into two parts: theory (80 marks) and internal assessment/formative test (20 marks). The exams will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. In 2025-26, the MBSE HSSLC exams will be held for five subjects – one compulsory and four electives.

MBSE HSSLC Exam Pattern 2025-26: Scheme of Subjects

Each MBSE Class 12 student will be required to select a total of five subjects. In addition to English, Mizo, Hindi, Assamese, Khasi, Garo, Bengali, Manipuri, Nepali, and Tynyidie, students will have to select two other languages. One of the two languages must be either English or Hindi, and the other one may be any of the preceding. At least three more elective subjects must be chosen. The schools will internally evaluate the results of the work experience, general studies, and physical and health education exams. A student may select another subject from the list of elective subjects below in addition to the additional subject:

How do I request a subject change for the MBSE HSSLC 2025?

Students in class 11 can speak with their school's principal about changing their topic(s). Once a student passes class eleven, they are not permitted to switch subjects. A student cannot select a subject in class twelve that they did not study in class eleven.

• The MBSE HSSLC Board Exam consists of theoretical and practical papers.
• The MBSE HSSLC Exam lasts for a total of three hours. Each paper is worth 100 points by the MBSE HSSLC Exam Pattern 2025-26.
• To pass the Mizoram 12th Board exams, applicants must receive 33% of the possible points. Each MBSE Board 12th student will be required to select a total of 5 subjects. Mizoram HSSLC Grace Marks 2025-26

The Mizoram board offers pupils MBSE grace marks, which aids them in passing the exam. A student may receive up to 12 grace marks for merit. For instance, if a student receives fewer than 12 marks in one subject, the board will pass them by awarding 12 marks. If a student receives failing grades in two subjects, leaving them with a combined 12 marks short, the board will pass them by awarding them the minimum scores needed to pass each subject.
