NBSE HSLC, HSSLC Board 2026: The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) has officially announced the exam dates for the HSLC (Class 10) and HSSLC (Class 12) for the year 2026. As per the released dates, the Class 12 exams will commence on February 12, followed by Class 10 from February 13. The NBSE HSLC exams will be held between February 13, 2026 and February 26, 2026 . The Class 12 exams will be conducted from February 12, 2026 to March 9, 2026. The NBSE HSSLC practical exams will be held from December 3 to December 12, 2025. Students who appeared for the examinations can check their results online via the official NBSE website as well as through other recognized result portals.

The result link will be made available on the official website- nbsenl.edu.in. After a few days, the board will issue the marksheets and provide them to schools. The students who fail to score the passing marks will be able to improve their scores through compartment exams in June 2026. About Nagaland Board of Secondary Education

NBSE was set up through an Act by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and received the assent of the Governor on 15 November 1973. It started functioning on 01 October 1974, and in March 1975, the Board held its first High School Leaving Certificate Examination at 6 (six) centers for 2008 (two thousand and eight) candidates. In trying to emerge with her own identity, a series of workshops, seminars, training, and study tours were organized. Subsequently, the state-level curriculum committee held its first meeting on 30 March 1978, which led to a series of workshops to bring out our independent curriculum. The government approved the new curriculum, shaped after the state's needs, on 12 April 1979. Textbooks written or selected under the newly framed curriculum were used for classes 9 and 10 from 1981 and 1982, respectively.

Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) will issue Nagaland 10th and 12th Class Board Time Table 2026 on its official Website in PDF format. To check the same, the steps are given below:

Nagaland Board 2026: Registration Form

NBSE releases the board application form notification on the official website. The allotted time frame must be followed when registering for the exams. Students must complete the registration process under the supervision of the appropriate school administration. Nagaland board exams are administered across the state by NBSE. • All the above subjects are of 100 marks (80 marks mentioned in weightage) and Internal assessment (20 marks).
• Additional subjects consist of (70 theory + 30 Internal assessment). The Work & Art Education, Physical & Health Education subjects comprise 100 marks.

Nagaland Board HSSLC Exam Pattern 2026

• Board exams will be judged externally as well as internally.
• Total Marks for a subject - 100.
• External Examination will be conducted on 80 Marks for all subjects except Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Accountancy (70 Marks).
• Internal assessment will be done on 20 marks for each paper except for the above-mentioned. A practical Examination of 30 marks will be conducted for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Accountancy.
• The question paper for each subject will be divided into 4 different sections on the basis of the types of questions.

Nagaland Board Result 2026

The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will announce the Class 10th and 12th results in April 2026. Students can check their results online through the official website – nbsenl.edu.in. To access the Nagaland Board Class 10 or Class 12 results 2026, candidates will need to enter their roll number and date of birth as mentioned on the admit card.
