PSEB 10th Result 2024 has been declared today (April 18) at around 1pm. Students who participated in the PSEB 10th exam can access their results on April 19, 2024 on the PSEB official website, pseb.ac.in. PSEB Board 2024: Overview

The Punjab School Education Board, established in 1969 by the Punjab government, oversees education and exams in Punjab. It also sponsors scholarships to worthy and needy students, sets curriculum, promotes education, and conducts the board examinations. Over 5,600 schools are spread across 22 districts. In 2022, 3.25 lakh students took the PSEB 10th Board 2024, and 2.11 lakh took the PSEB 12th Board 2024; numbers are rising. Punjab 10th Date Sheet and Punjab 12th Date Sheet was released on 2nd January 2024. Students should review the syllabus and exam pattern, preparing well for the finals. PSEB Class 10th, 12th Board 2024: Date Sheet 

The PSEB date sheet contains subjects and their corresponding date and time of the examination. It also contains the board’s instructions for the candidates. The practical tests are generally conducted before the start of the theoretical examination. PSEB Board 2024: Registration Form

Filling up the PSEB Registration Form 2024 is crucial to declare their interest in appearing for the PSEB-conducted board exams. PSEB will proceed with verifying details shared on registration with the attached documents and create a registration card. Once the registration process is completed, students will be given a short duration to notify the schools and board of any registration discrepancies. Registration for the PSEB 10th Board 2024 will have to be completed to be eligible to receive the admit cards required to appear for the examinations. Generally, the last date for the PSEB registration process ends in September. It is necessary to fill up the registration form within the time frame to avoid a late fine.

Last year, the PSEB registration fee was INR 800, and an additional INR 100 has to be paid for each practical subject. Each extra subject was charged INR 350. Details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, religion, reservation categories, and subjects taken have to be filled out in the form. The students should be extra cautious while filling up the registration forms as they carry all the personal details related to the candidate. Any error will be reflected later in the admit card. Hence, they should get the registration details double-checked by parents and teachers.

PSEB Board 2024: Admit Card

PSEB Admit Card 2024 will be issued to the candidates after the registration process is completed. PSEB 10th Admit Card 2024 and PSEB 12th Admit Card 2024 will be released on the Punjab board’s website two to three weeks before the exam starts. Students will receive the admit cards essential to enter the examination hall weeks before the examinations. Online admit cards can only be accessed by school authorities, who will download and circulate them among students. The private candidates will have to download from the board website mandatorily. The process of the PSEB admit card 2024 download is enumerated below:

• School authorities have to visit the website of the Punjab board.
• They will have to log in to the link using their school ID/user ID and password.
• A link will direct them to the admit cards.
• After submitting the necessary information they will be able to download the admit cards.
• Then they can print it and distribute it to the students.

 Immediately after receiving the admit cards, students must check the accuracy of the information. They should immediately notify the School administration in case of any misinformation. Students will be issued duplicate admit cards in such situations. Check the name, roll number, school information, date of birth, examination center and code, subjects, examination subjects, and schedule and timing.

PSEB Board Exam Pattern 2024

The board exams will be conducted in a single sitting at the end of the academic year. PSEB 10th Exam Pattern 2023-24 and PSEB 12th Exam Pattern 2023-24 on their website every year. PSEB 10th Exam Pattern 2024

Here is the important information related to the PSEB 10th exam pattern 2024:

• Each subject carries 100 marks.
• The paper is divided into two parts where 80 marks are assigned to theory and 20 marks are allocated to practicals or internal assessments.
• The paper Punjabi/ Punjab History and Culture has 75 marks which are divided into two sections Part A and Part B.
• The theory part of this paper is 65 marks whereas the internal assessment is 10 marks.
• The exam time is 3 hours for all the subjects.

PSEB 12th Exam Pattern 2024

The salient points related to the PSEB 12th exam pattern 2024 are given below:

• The full mark of each paper is 100.
• The exam pattern is divided into theory, practical, and CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation).
• The compulsory subjects will have 80 marks in theory and 20 marks in internal assessment.
• Other subjects will have 70 to 80 marks in theory and the rest in practicals or CCE.
• The CCE marks are based on factors such as attendance, character, interaction, and others.
• The questions include objective types, short questions, long questions, very long questions, and map-based (in the case of the arts stream).

PSEB Board 2024: Syllabus

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released the PSEB Class 10, 12 syllabus for the current academic session 2023-24 on its official website pseb.ac.in. Students preparing for PSEB Class 10th, 12th Board Exams 2024 must go through the PSEB 10th, 12th Syllabus to learn about the chapters included in each subject for the year-end board exams. The Syllabus can be downloaded by visiting the home page of the PSEB website. They will find the “Syllabus” option under the “Important Links” section, and check the class-wise updated syllabus for the academic session 2023-24.

The syllabus contains time, marks division between theory and internal assessments, question papers and samples, and prescribed books. Students must cover the whole Syllabus thoroughly and at least two months before the examination. It will give them the scope to revise the portions again. They should also take a cue from the question patterns provided along with the syllabus to practice similar questions for the exam.

PSEB Board Question Paper 2024

Students can scroll through the PSEB website to access the 10th and 12th previous year question papers. Students can practice the last five years of PSEB 10th previous year question papers and PSEB 12th previous year question papers to gain confidence. Practicing previous year's papers will reduce the uncertainty and make the students more confident in appearing for the exam. Students are advised to download the papers and practice them. PSEB Board Result 2024

PSEB 10th Result 2024 has been released in the press conference held by the board officials. The board has disclosed various details including the overall pass percentage, toppers name, gender-wise result and more. This year approximately 3 lakh students appeared for the PSEB 10th Exam 2024 out of which 179078 students passed from rural areas and 94270 passed from urban areas. PSEB 10th Scorecard 2024 will be activated tomorrow, April 19, 2024. Students who appeared for the exam can be downloaded the results tomorrow once the scorecard is activated.
 Candidates must enter information like their roll numbers or names to obtain the PSEB result 2024. There are three options for candidates to access the Punjab Board Result 2024: online, by name, and through SMS. Once the marksheets are shared with the students, they will be able to check their aggregate scores in theoretical and practical papers/internal assessments. The students will be declared pass, only if they secure 33% in each paper. A score below that is considered a failure in that particular subject.
To access the results candidates have to follow the following steps:

• Go to the PSEB website.
• Open the link with the header PSEB 10th result 2024/PSEB 12th result 2024.
• A box will appear on the screen. Students have to write their names and roll numbers.
• When they click on submit, the result will load.
• They can check the marks of all the subjects, total marks, grades, and qualifying status.

Students can access their results through Digilocker by creating an account there. In areas of weak network connectivity, students can check the results through SMS. Students can later get the original mark sheets from their schools. If they are dissatisfied with their marks, they can appeal for re-evaluation which may increase their scores.

Punjab Board Compartment Exam 2024

After the PSEB results 2024 are declared, any student who fails in one or two subjects can appear for PSEB compartment 2024 or a supplementary exam to retake the failed subjects. The compartment exam dates will be declared soon after the release of the results. In all probability, the compartment exams will take place in July 2024. The results of PSEB compartment exams will be released two or three months after the exam. Registration for compartment exams must be done through the schools, and the forms should be filled out carefully to avoid undue mistakes. The supplementary date sheet will be available on the website in due time, and students must download the timetable for their subject exam dates. They can get admit cards from their schools, and private students can download them directly from the websites. During the compartment exam, students must be determined to study well and pass the examination. The schools will distribute the compartment mark sheets once the results are declared.
