The Chemistry board exam carries 70 marks and is conducted over a duration of 3 hours. TN Class 12 Chemistry Previous Year Question Paper- Exam Pattern

The Tamil Nadu Class 12 Chemistry exam comprises 10 internal assessment marks, 20 practical marks, and a 70-mark theory paper. The theory question paper is divided into four parts. Part I carries 15 marks and includes 15 multiple-choice questions of one mark each. Part II is allotted 12 marks and contains 9 very short answer questions, out of which students must answer 6, with each question carrying 2 marks. Part III consists of 9 short-answer questions, of which 6 must be attempted, each worth 3 marks for a total of 18 marks. Part IV includes 5 long-answer questions of 5 marks each, making up 25 marks, and this section also offers internal choices. There is no negative marking in the exam.
