AP SSC, Intermediate Board - The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh has released the exam date sheet for SSC and intermediate. For AP Board classes 10th and 12th, the exam will be held from March 18 to 30, 2024 and March 02 to 15, 2024 respectively. The date sheet was released on December 14, 2023. The AP SSC Exam date sheet 2024 includes the exam dates for each of the subjects. AP SSC Exam 2024 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. The exam duration will be 2 hours for vocational course theory exam, and for the First language Paper 2 Composite course, the exams will be conducted from 9:30 am to 11:15 pm. For AP Intermediate exams 2024, the board exams will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. 

The hall tickets will be released after the completion of the practical exams. AP Board of Secondary Education Overview

AP SSC is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education of AP, formed in 1953, which is an independent body under the AP Department of Education. To promote intermediate learning in the state, the AP Board of Intermediate Education was formed in 1971. This board is in charge of providing 2 years of courses for 85 subject streams and organizing tests. All academic decisions for these two classes are taken by the board. The administrative activities of the board include designing courses of study, framing syllabus, organizing exams, and providing results. The evaluation and certification of students are also looked after by the board. It also provides assistance to all secondary educational institutes of the state.

AP Board Registration Form 2024

The registration process is important to ensure that the students receive the hall tickets to appear for the board examination. Each year, the registration process is organised for students willing to appear for AP SSC and AP Intermediate examinations. It is a vital process that demands extra precautions from the students while filling out the registration form. Any error in the registration form will be reflected in the hall ticket and original mark sheets.

Once the form fill-up is done, registration payment must be made. The registration fee is INR 125 for 6 subjects and INR 110 for 3 subjects. AP Board Result 2024

AP SSC results 2024 will be declared online on the AP board SSC board website, probably in May 2024. On the other hand, AP board Intermediate results 2024 will also be declared on April 12, 2024 as per the dates confirmed by BIE. The AP board results are trusted metrics of the performance of the board candidates. The activated links on the website require students to submit their roll numbers post which the results are displayed. In case of network connectivity disturbance, students can opt for the SMS option to get updates on their results. They can check the results by sending an SMS to a designated number. 

The result contains the scores in individual subjects along with the total marks. It also contains the grades and pass-fail status of the candidate. After the announcement of the result, the original mark sheet will be provided to respective schools. AP board mandates students to score at least 35% to qualify for the exams. If anyone scores below 35 out of 100 in a particular subject, then they have to re-appear for the examination in the form of the AP compartment exam 2024. Students can also fill out the re-check application form if they are unsatisfied with the marks obtained. 

AP Board Compartment Exam 2024

Students who fail to pass AP SSC 2024 or AP Intermediate 2024 can appear for the AP compartment exam 2024. The compartment exams will be held shortly after the main board exam result declaration. Students who get a compartment in their results must fill out new forms and register for the supplementary exams in July 2024 online. The hall tickets contain all the important details regarding the exam and are released a week or two before the examination.

Students should focus on scoring at least 35 marks for each paper. They must study the topics from the syllabus of their failed subjects and revise them thoroughly. Following a strict timetable and revising the topics with higher marks weightage would be the ideal way to succeed in this second chance. Students who have failed in three or more subjects are ineligible to appear for the compartment exam. Candidates will also get a new mark sheet post the declaration of supplementary results, which will be declared by the end of August 2024.
