CBSE Class 12 Economics Syllabus 2023-24: The Economics of Class 12 is a more advanced version of class 11. CBSE class 12 Economics covers a wide range of topics and advanced information on the subject, carrying forward the concept that the student learns in the class 11 Economics syllabus. Along with the CBSE Class 12 syllabus, students should also refer to the CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024. Economics is the science of financing that deals with how governments, businesses, households, society, and people decide when, where, and how to best utilize their natural resources. CBSE syllabus for class 12th Economics is divided into two parts. The first part of the economics subject is Introduction to Macroeconomics and the second part is Indian economic development. Both the parts of the paper are for 40 marks and the total number of marks for the theory paper will be 80 marks. The duration of the paper will be three hours. After completing the syllabus students should start Solving CBSE Class 12 Economics Previous Year Question Paper and CBSE Class 12 Economics Sample Paper 2024.

The total number of marks allotted for the Economics subjects is 100 marks so the remaining 20 marks will be allotted for the project work.
