CBSE Class 11 Physics Deleted Syllabus 2023-24: The Central Board of Secondary Education has revised the Class 11 Physics syllabus for the academic year 2023-24. CBSE reduced the CBSE Class 11 syllabus by 30% in the academic session 2022-23 and decided to continue with the same changes for the 2023-24 academic year as well. CBSE Class 11 Physics syllabus 2023-24 will cover 10 units, which will be divided into 14 chapters. As per the CBSE class 11 Physics Deleted Syllabus 2023-24, the entire Chapter 1 (Physical World) has been removed from the syllabus. Apart from this, some topics have been excluded from Chapters 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 15 as per the latest CBSE Class 11 Exam Pattern 2023-24.
CBSE Class 11 curriculum will only focus on the key concepts, critical thinking, application-based, and problem-solving chapters. There will be 40% competency-focused questions (case-based or source-based), 20% response-type questions (MCQs), and 40% will be short and long answer-type questions. CBSE Class 11 Physics Preparation Tips 2023-24
CBSE Board will conduct the Class 11 exams as a single annual examination following the pre-COVID CBSE Class 11 exam pattern. Go through the preparation tips provided below:
- Start the preparation for the board exams with an understanding of the updated CBSE Class 11 Blueprint 2023-24.
- Prepare an effective study schedule for the exam and follow it till the end.
- Candidates must practice the previous year’s papers and sample papers after completing the syllabus to get high scores in the exam.
- CBSE sets papers based on NCERT Books. Therefore always refer to Class 11 NCERT Books for all the subjects.
- Make important notes on definitions, laws, theories, and formulas. This will help one to have a quick revision before the exam.
CBSE Class 11 exam 2024 will be conducted offline between February and April 2024 in the respective school centers.
