CBSE Class 12 Psychology Deleted Syllabus 2025-26 has been prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The deleted syllabus includes two full chapters like "Psychology and Life" and "Developing Psychological Skills." Along with that, several topics are also removed from existing chapters, such as Social Cognition, Schemas and Stereotypes, Impression Formation, Attribution of Causality, Behaviour in the Presence of Others, and Pro-social Behaviour from the "Attitude and Social Cognition" chapter. This 30% reduction in the syllabus is made to focus more on observation-based study and analytical skills following the New Education Policy 2020. The outdated topics are eliminated from the current syllabus to make studies more interesting and lessen the burden on students.
