Changes Introduced in Manipur Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025-26
As per the meeting conducted with the teachers, the Manipur board has decided to bring the following changes to the Manipur Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025-26:
- The Manipur Class 12 board exam 2025-26 has been divided into two terms: Term 1 and Term 2 similar to last year.
- The students’ score at each term-end exam will be added up along with the internal assessment for the final score.
- The board has decided that the evaluation of the students will be done on the basis of Multiple Choice Questions at the end of the first term and a subjective exam at the end of the second term.
- The final exams will be conducted by the board.
- The students are also advised to go through the Manipur Class 12 Previous Year Question Paper to practice for the board exam as per last year's pattern.
Why is Manipur Board Bringing These Changes?
Manipur board is introducing these changes to help the students manage their studies and stress for exams. The board also targets to provide a continuous assessment to the students through internal assessment criteria which will help to test the application and knowledge skills of the students.
Manipur Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025-26
Along with the Manipur Class 12 Date Sheet 2026 , the board releases the Manipur Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025-26 every year. Given below are some of the major points related to Manipur Class 12 Exam Pattern:
- (a) The Higher Secondary Examination will be administered by the Council in every subject.
- (b) When the Council feels it is essential, it may examine the assessment records.
- (c) Three-hour theory papers worth 100 or 70 marks are required for every topic covered in Class XI and the Higher Secondary Examination. The time permitted for theory papers with maximum scores of 50 and 40/30 is two hours and thirty minutes, respectively. Three (three) hours will be the permitted time for practicals
- (d) As specified in the curriculum, there must be a theory paper and a practical paper in every topic that involves practice.
- (e) Reading the questions in all theory papers will take an additional fifteen (15) minutes. However, in the event of a practical examination, no additional time will be granted.
- (f) A candidate may take the subsequent exams for a maximum of four (four) years in a row if they fail or miss the Higher Secondary Examination.
