Goa SSC Grading System 2024: The Goa Board follows a grading system that also includes a point-based system. According to the marks, students are provided with points ranging from 1 to 9, where 1 is the highest point and 9 is the lowest point. The "A" grade is given to those who receive 91% to 100% marks. The grade value is 10 for the "A" grade. They are given remarks as outstanding. The "B" grade is given to those who score between 81% to 90%. Those who achieve 71% to 80% are given a "C" grade. The "D" grade is given to those scoring between 61% to 70% and the "E" grade is for scores between 51% to 60% marks. A few weeks following the announcement of the Goa Board SSC Result 2024, the marksheet including the grades based on the marks obtained by students will be made available.

Goa SSC Grading System 2024: Passing Criteria 2024

The Goa board has set a passing criteria for students. To pass the Goa board SSC exam 2024, students need to secure at least grade “G”. The students scoring marks between 33% to 40% are awarded with G grade. It is mandatory for students to score at least 33% marks to pass the exams. Among all the grades, “A” is the highest grade provided to students scoring between 91 to 100%. From A to G grades, students are considered passed. The grades are provided to students on a total of marks secured in practical and theory exams.

Goa SSC Grading System 2024: Marking Scheme for Practical Exams

The following are the marks distribution for the practical exams in the Goa SSC Exam for the academic year 2023–2024:

• Max. Marks: 20 marks
• Duration: 1 hour

During this duration, the marks are divided up among the following components:

• Long Experiment: 10 marks
• Short Experiment: 5 marks
• Journal: 5 marks

Goa SSC Grading System 2024: Revaluation

If students fail to score passing marks or are unsatisfied with the marks secured in the Goa Board SSC Result 2024, they can apply for the revaluation process. The board allows students to fill in the re-evaluation form online within a week after the announcement of the result. The students can get the copies checked again by paying a nominal fee.

The board will start the revaluation process in May or June 2024, after the release of the result. The board will provide students a week to apply for the revaluation of SSC Result 2024.
