GSEB HSC Topper 2023- Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will announce the GSEB HSC toppers 2023 list in May 2023 tentatively after the declaration of GSEB 12th Result 2023. The board will provide GSEB HSC toppers 2023 list separately for Science, Commerce and Arts stream on its official website, gseb.org. The GSEB HSC toppers 2023 list for the science stream will be released in the first week of May 2023 along with the result. While Commerce and Arts stream toppers will be announced in the last week of May 2023. The GSEB board will also release the statistics like top-performing districts, the number of students appearing and other details along with the GSEB HSC toppers 2023. Students who will score the highest marks will emerge as GSEB HSC topper 2023. GSEB HSC toppers 2023 list will comprise topper's name, rank, marks obtained among other details.
GSEB 12th exam dates 2023 for Science, General and Vocational streams was released on January 3, 2023. As per the released schedule, the GSEB HSC practical exams 2023 of the Science stream will be held from February 20 to February 28, 2023. GSEB HSC theory exams 2023 Science will be conducted between March 14 and 25, 2023, while GSEB HSC general stream exams will be held from March 14 to March 29, 2023. The GSEB HSC vocational exams are scheduled to be held from March 20 to March 29, 2023. GSEB HSC Topper 2023 - Result Statistics
The GSEB Board has not yet announced the GSEB HSC toppers 2023 list. Along with the Gujarat Board 12th result statistics, the board will release Gujarat Board HSC science topper 2023 in the second week of May 2023. While the GSEB HSC topper 2023 list for commerce and arts will be published in the last week of May 2023. Last year, the Gujarat Board (GSEB) announced the results for the HSC (Class 12) science stream on May 12, 2022. The board declared that 72.02% of the students who appeared for the exam passed. There was a slight improvement in the 2022 science stream results of 0.68% as compared to the 2021 results. A total of 68, 681 students out of the 95,361 students who appeared for the exam passed. The Board released the GSEB HSC Result 2022 for Arts and Commerce students on June 4, 2022. The total pass percentage remained 86.91%, out of which 87.23% students were from Gujarati medium while 86.85% were from English medium. Of the 3.35 lakh students who appeared for the HSC (general stream) exam, 2.91 lakh students successfully passed the exam. Interestingly, for the academic year 2021-22, 16,000 fewer students appeared for the exam. The overall pass percentage for girls was 89.23%. The total pass percentage of boys was 84.67%. A total of 1064 schools recorded a perfect 100% pass percentage.

GSEB HSC Result 2023 - Revaluation
Gujarat Board will release the GSEB HSC re-evaluation forms in May 2023 tentatively. Students will be able to download and recheck GSEB HSC result 2023 in the form of a pdf file. The file will comprise the student's roll number and name along with the modification in marks.
- After the declaration of the GSEB HSC result 2023, some students may not be satisfied with their marks in gseb.org 12th result 2023.
- Such students will have the chance to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of GSEB HSC result 2023.
- The applications for the re-evaluation and rechecking of GSEB HSC result 2023 are accepted in online mode for science and general streams.
- Students have to pay a requisite amount of fees, and the Fee for rechecking of Gujarat board 12th result is Rs. 100 per subject which is to be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking or demand draft.
GSEB HSC Passing Marks 2023
In Gujarat Board, students must secure a minimum of 33% passing marks in each subject and an aggregate to be declared as pass in the GSEB HSC Exam 2023. Students who will not be able to achieve the same will be provided with the option of GSEB HSC Supplementary Examinations conducted by the State Board. The discretion of awarding grace marks is subjective and lies with the board. In case, a student could not pass for one or two marks, he or she can be awarded grace marks. Also, 33% includes internal and external (or written) examinations.
- Students will be awarded a pass certificate who will score GSEB HSC passing marks.
- Students have to pass in all the external examination subjects (main/compartmental) with a score of at least 33%.
- To qualify in subjects with practical work, a candidate has to get 33 percent in theory and 33 percent in practical work separately. Although a combined Gujarat Board HSC passing marks of 33% will also be required.
- Candidates who will be exempted from one or more internal tests are eligible to take the external exams. However, the result will be announced only if all the above mentioned conditions of GSEB HSC Passing Marks 2023 have been met.
