GSEB Class 12 Blueprint 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) released the GSEB HSC Blueprint 2024 for Arts, Commerce, and Science along with the question paper pattern 2024 on the official website. Students can visit the website of GSEB at gsebeservice.com to download the subject wise GSEB HSC blueprint 2024. The Gujarat Education Department announced major changes in the Gujarat Board class 12 Exam Pattern following the National Education Policy 2020. One of the major changes that the state board has introduced is the increase in objective type questions by 10%. Meaning, the percentage in objective type questions has increased from 20 to 30 per cent, and in descriptive questions, the weightage has declined from 30 to 20 per cent.
Students will have to appear for a total of 6 subjects in the Gujarat Board class 12 exams 2024 where the Language papers will be compulsory. The maximum marks allotted for the GSEB HSC Examination is 100 marks, wherein the theory paper of practical based subjects will be for 70 marks, and practicals will be for 30 marks. A total of 3 hours will be provided to complete the papers. For almost all the subjects, there will be 4 sections, A, B, C, and D covering MCQs, very short answer questions, short answer questions, and long answer questions. In the GSEB Class 12 science stream, the 50 percent MCQ has been retained. The state board will conduct the GSEB HSC examination 2024 from March 11 to March 22, 2024.
