ICSE Class 10 English Sample Paper 2023-24: There are two papers that are conducted for English by the ICSE authorities. Paper one is the language paper and Paper 2 is the Literature paper. Students have to appear for both papers and it is also compulsory to get passing marks in both papers. Both the papers will be conducted for 80 marks and 2 hours will be provided to write the answers. 15 minutes will be provided to read the question paper. English Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted on two different days. The latest syllabus for each paper is now uploaded on the official website to be downloaded by the students. ICSE 10th Board Exams 2024 will be conducted very soon by the board authorities however the detailed ICSE 10th Time Table 2024 is not yet available on the official website.

How To Download ICSE Class 10 English Sample Paper 2023-24?
The official CISCE website holds the important documents for the ICSE board exams. Students can download the ICSE Class 10 English Sample Paper 2023-24 from the official website by following the simple steps given below:
- Step 1: You will first have to visit the official website of CISCE at cisce.org
- Step 2: The homepage will open on your screen where you have to click on the Examinations option on the menu bar.
- Step 3: From the drop-down menu, click on the ICSE Examination option.
- Step 4: On the new page, you have to scroll down and click on the Specimen Question Papers option.
- Step 5: A new page with the latest years for the question papers will open on your screen. Click on the year of your choice.
- Step 6: You can download the question paper by clicking on the English option.
ICSE Class 10 English Sample Paper 2023-24: Structure
There are two different papers for English divided as per the grammar and the literature section presented by the CISCE authority. You can check out the structure of the papers from the pointers given below:
- The weightage of the paper is 80 marks and the time allotted to complete the paper is 2 hours.
- In the language paper which is paper one, students must attempt all five questions. You are advised to spend not more than 30 minutes answering Question 1 and 20 minutes answering Question 2.
- The intended marks for questions or parts of questions are given in brackets [ ].
- In the Literature paper which is paper two, there are four Sections. Section A is compulsory. You must attempt one question from each of Sections B, C, and D and one other question from any Section of your choice.
- 15 minutes will be allotted for the students to read the question paper.
