As per the ICSE Class 10 Hindi Blueprint, the marks evaluation of the ICSE Class 10 Hindi theory exam is tabulated below:| Sections | Particulars | Topics | Marks |

ICSE Class 10 Hindi Internal Assessment Blueprint 2025-26
Students will have to attain two or three assignments of reasonable length/duration of which two should be written assignments, where one will be from the language and one from the literature component of the syllabus.
Language Assignments:
- Oral: Prepared speech/ declamation; impromptu speech/ debate/ report/interview; elocution; discussion; role-play/general conversation on selected topics.
- Creative Writing: Students are to write short compositions (approximately 300 to 400 words each), the stimuli being:
- a piece of recorded music;
- a recorded series of sounds;
- a picture/photograph;
- an opening sentence or phrase;
- a newspaper/magazine clipping or report;
- Additional Assignment
- One piece of factual writing which should be informative or argumentative.
- One piece of expressive writing that is descriptive and imaginative.
- Preparation of film/book review.
Literature (Prescribed Texts) Assignments:
Assignments should be based on the prescribed textbooks on the following lines:
(i) Character/thematic analysis.
(ii) Socio-economic, cultural, historical relevance / background.
(iii) Summary / paraphrase.
ICSE Class 10 Hindi Marks Evaluation 2025-26
As per the ICSE Class 10 Hindi Blueprint, the assignments/project work of the ICSE Class 10 Hindi exam will be evaluated by the subject teacher and by an External Examiner who is a teacher nominated by the Head of the school. The assignments will be assessed by the Internal Examiner and the External Examiner independently.

The total marks that will be secured out of 20 will be sent to CISCE by the Head of the school. The Head of the school will make an online entry of marks on the CISCE’s CAREERS portal by the given date.
ICSE Class 10 Hindi Question Paper Pattern 2025-26
The ICSE class 10 Hindi question paper will be for 80 marks. The 20 marks will be based on internal assessment. These 80 marks will be bifurcated equally into the two sections i.e., the Language (Section A) will be for 40 marks, and Literature (Section B) will be for 40 marks. The ICSE Class 10 Hindi Exam 2025 will be conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The paper will be designed in such a manner that it will assess the students’ comprehension, writing, and analytical skills in both sections.
