The Meghalaya Board Class 12th Exam Pattern has been updated by MBOSE and uploaded in the form of a circular on its official website at www.mbose.in. The points mentioned below will provide you with a summary of the Meghalaya HSSLC Exam Pattern 2024.
- Meghalaya HSSLC Board Exams will be conducted only once at the end of the academic year in March - April 2024.
- Meghalaya HSSLC exams will be judged externally as well as internally.
- Total Marks for a subject - 100.
- Theoretical Exams will be conducted on 80 Marks for subjects that do not include practicals.
- The board exams for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Accountancy will be conducted on 70 Marks.
- 20 marks have been allocated to the Internal assessment while the practical examination for the above-mentioned subjects will be done on 30 marks.
- The minimum passing marks for each subject will be 30%.

Meghalaya Board 12th Exam Pattern 2024 - Marking Scheme
The Marking Scheme for Meghalaya HSSLC Board Exams 2024 is represented in the form of points given below:
- The questions asked in the Meghalaya Board 12th papers will have different scores according to the length of the answers required.
- As per the latest pattern, there will be 40% competency-based questions, 20% of the questions will be based on MCQ format and 40% of the remaining questions will be descriptive type questions.
- The MCQ-type questions will be 1 mark each, 2 marks are assigned to each short answer type question and the long answer questions will be of 3 marks each.
- The candidates will have to score a minimum of 30% marks in each paper to pass the Meghalaya HSSLC 12th Exam 2024.
