CBSE Class 10 Social Science Syllabus 2025-26 is now available online on the official website of the CBSE Academics at cbseacademics.nic.in. The Social Science syllabus comprises 4 parts; History, Geography, Political Science and Economics.

CBSE Class 10 Social Science Syllabus 2025-26 was released online at cbseacademics.nic.in on March 29, 2025. The Class 10th Social Science syllabus is divided into four parts. These parts are History (India and the Contemporary World-II), Geography (Contemporary India-II), Political Science (Democratic Politics-II), and Economics (Understanding Economic Development). History has 3 sections and 5 chapters, there are 7 chapters in Geography, 5 chapters in Political Science, and 5 chapters in Economics included in the curriculum according to the latest syllabus. Each part will carry 20 marks, where in History, there will be 2 marks allotted for map pointing and 3 marks in Geography for map pointing.

The theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks, and the internal assessments will be conducted for 20 marks. Subject-wise, each portion will carry 25% in the CBSE 10th Social Science exam.
