Never Miss an Exam Update
CBSE Class 10, 12 Date Sheet 2024 - The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the date sheet on the official website. The class 10 examination will start from Feb 19, 2024 and class 12 from Feb 15, 2024. In a new update, it was also mentioned that exams will be conducted twice a year starting from AY 2024-25. The students will have the opportunity to retain the better score to be reflected in their results accordingly. However, this year only one annual exam will be held. The detailed CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2024 along with class 10 time table has been uploaded in a PDF format on the official website of cbse.nic.in to be downloaded by the students very soon.
The practical exams for classes 10th and 12th will be conducted from January 1, 2024. Check more information about the same from the details given below.

Steps To Download CBSE Class 10, 12 Date Sheet 2024?
There is a very simple procedure that can be followed by the students to download the CBSE 10th, and 12th Date Sheet 2024. The date sheet has been uploaded on the official website of CBSE and you can follow the simple steps given below to download the date sheet accordingly:
- Step 1: Students will first have to visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in
- Step 2: Click on the option called Main Website present on the homepage and the main website will open on your screen.

CBSE 10th, 12th Exam Day Instructions 2024
To make the exam process smooth, students must know the Do’s and Dont’s for the exam day. Read the following instructions related to time, documents, and other rules.
Reporting Time: During the board examination between February 15 and April 10, students are expected to reach the examination center at least 5 to 20 minutes before the exam. THe first shift will start at 10:30 am and the second shift will start at 2:30 pm.
Carry all Documents and Required Items: There are some essential items and admit cards which are essential for the board examination. Without the admit card, students will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. In addition, students must not forget to bring stationery items such as pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, and more.
Follow the Seating Arrangement: Students must only sit on the allotted seats. Following such rules will let the exam process complete smoothly. Wait for your turn to get the exam paper and start writing the answers only when allowed.

CBSE Class 10 & 12 Examination Preparation Tips 2024
Scoring good marks in CBSE class 10 is not that difficult with time management, effective study strategies, and a right amount of focused approach. Here are some of the tips for the CBSE class 10th students that will help them achieve the target:
- Create a proper study schedule at the very beginning of the academic session 2023-24. Allocate more time and effort to topics or subjects that are challenging.
- Be consistent with the study schedule till the end. 7-8 hours is the ideal duration a student must study before the CBSE Class 10 board exam.
- Try to set a realistic and achievable goal for each study session. For example, complete a certain chapter or topic with a specific time limit.
- The CBSE board follows the NCERT syllabus and a maximum number of questions come from NCERT textbooks. Therefore, focus on NCERT textbooks only instead of other reference books.
- Solve previous year question papers on a regular basis. It will help one to understand the exam pattern, types of questions, and question pattern in a better way.
Students can go through some of the strategies to score high marks in Class 12:
- Focus on writing skills. Knowing an answer to a question is not enough. One should also know how to deliver that answer in neat, clear and presentable handwriting. Highlight/ underline the important sentences while writing. Maintain a proper margin on every page.
- Make short notes while studying a particular topic or chapter. Write down all the important formulas, definitions, laws, equations, diagrams, dates, or anything you find important in your notebook, and keep it handy before the exam.
- Self assessment or evaluation is very important to score 95% in the CBSE Class 12 exam. Know your weaknesses and work on them accordingly.
- In case you are stuck with any queries, connect with your school teachers or experts immediately. Discuss with them about your problems and get them resolved.
- Time management is also important. Learn it while solving the previous year question papers.
- Moreover, do not forget to revise, be it before the exam commencement or before submitting the answer sheet to the invigilator.
