Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024 was introduced by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024 is a six-point-grading scale that assesses students on the basis of their performance in the Karnataka SSLC Board Examinations. The grading system includes six grades, ranging from A+, A, B+, B, C+, to C. According to the marks scored by the students, they are awarded with the grades. Among all the grades, A+ is the highest grade, and "C" is the lowest grade. The students who score between 563 to 635 marks are provided with "A+" grade.

Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024

Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024 is a simple six-point-scale grading system, put forward by the KSEEB. The students are graded in accordance with the marks obtained in the Karnataka SSLC exams. As per the Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024, "A+" is the highest grade while "C" is the lowest. This signifies that a student needs to secure at least 219 marks out of 625, which is equivalent to grade "C", to pass the Karnataka SSLC 2024 exams.

Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024: Passing Criteria 

To clear the Karnataka SSLC 2024 examinations, a student needs to score at least 30% marks in each external Examination and 35% in aggregate i.e in the subjects of External and internal assessment. Overall marks scored in the External and Internal assessments are considered below "NC" (Not Completed) rank. Students who are in NC rank are not eligible to receive a pass certificate for the Karnataka SSLC exams. NC ranks students are required to sit in the compartment or supplementary exams and secure a pass percentage of over 30% in each subject and an overall 35%, to ultimately pass the Karnataka SSLC examinations.

Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024: Subject Required to Pass 

  • Students can choose Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi for language paper 1. 
  • For language paper 2, students can choose between Kannada and English.
  • For language page 3, students will have to choose out of the options Hindi, English, Kannada, Urdu, Konkani, Tulu. 
  • Language 1 will carry 100 marks. Language paper 2 and language paper 3 will carry 80 marks for the theory exam and 20 marks for the practical exam.
  • The core subjects like Math, science and social science will carry 80 marks for the theory exam and 20 for the practical exam. 
  • Students with special condictions will have the subjects like Political Science, Sociology and Economics carrying 80 marks for the theory exam and 20 for the practical exam.

Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024: Rechecking/Revaluation

After the declaration of Karnataka SSLC 2024 results, if the student is not satisfied with their marks and feels that he/she would have have scored more marks than what have been awarded, such students, can apply for Karnataka SSLC 2024 Rechecking/Revaluation process. The students can avail this facility by registering for revaluation/rechecking, with the payment of the required fees as prescribed by the KSEEB.

Karnataka SSLC Grading System 2024: Supplementary/Compartment Exams

NC ranks students are required to sit in the compartment or supplementary exams and secure a pass percentage of over 30% in each subject and an overall 35%, to ultimately pass the Karnataka SSLC examinations. Students can raise applications for the supplementary examination in their respective schools by submitting the required. The Karnataka SSLC Result has already been released. The registration for Karnataka SSLC 2024 supplementary exam will begin today and the last date to apply for the same is May 15, 2024. The time table for the compartment exams will be released by the end of May 2024 as the exams will be held in June 2024.

The KSEEB declares the Karnataka SSLC supplementary examination results 2024 after successful completion of supplementary exams for the NC ranks students.
