Bihar Board 12th Grading System 2026 includes grades as well as divisions. Bihar Board 12th uses a nine-grade system from A1 (highest) to F (fail). Students need at least grade D or E (33% minimum per subject) to pass, with an overall aggregate of 30%. Divisions are also awarded. If students get more than 60%, they will get First Division, Second Division will be given if you get 45-59%, and Third Division will be given, if you get 33-44%. The grades that the students have secured in the internal assessments will also be reflected in the Bihar Board 12th Marksheet 2026 . The marksheet will be distributed among the students through their respective school premises. Students who score more than 90% marks will be awarded with A1 grade. Students who will be achieving 300 or more marks out of 500 will be provided the first division.
The Bihar Board 12th Result 2026 will be released in the fourth week of March 2026. The result will also include the total number of marks that the students have achieved in every subject along with the aggregate total. If the students fail to secure the minimum passing marks, they are required to appear for the supplementary exams. - The total number of marks allotted in the Bihar Board 12th exam is 500.

How to Calculate Percentage Using Bihar Board 12th Grading System 2026?
Students can easily calculate their overall percentage by using the grades and division that they have achieved in the results.
- Step 1: Usually, the marks scored by the students in every subject are mentioned in the marksheet released by BSEB. Students must first add all the marks of the different subjects.
- Step 2: You now have to divide the total number of marks by the total number of subjects. The result will be your percentage.
