The last section of the Physics paper will consist of long-answer type questions for 5 marks each. You are required to answer three questions. There are a total of 6 questions included in this section. Refer to some important long-answer-type questions below:

Question 1: State and prove Gauss' theorem. Obtain the expression for electric intensity at a point outside a charged sphere with its help.

Question 2: State and explain Kirchhoff’s laws. Applying this law, obtain a balanced condition of Wheatstone’s bridge.

Question 3: Find out the expression for the capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor.

Question 4: The height of a TV tower is 235m. If the average population density around the TV tower is 1000 (KM)-2, then up to how many people can the transmission reach? (Radius of the earth = 6.37 x 106m)

Question 5: Explain the working of a P-N junction diode. Draw the circuit of a full-wave rectifier and explain its working.
