Manipur Class 10 Question Paper: Marking Scheme
The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), which has recently undergone modification, has been used by the Board of Secondary Education in Manipur. Four formative assessments (FA) and two summative assessments (SA) are administered in accordance with CCE's current standards.
- The FAs are typically held in March, May, July, and September, and each subject receives 20 marks. The SAs are administered in June and November/December and each one is worth 50 points. The assignments, projects, and practicals receive 20 marks each.
- As a result, the final mark is calculated using the total marks (20 x 4 + 50 x 2 + 20), which add up to 200 marks. The updated plan only applies to Class 10.
Details of the Manipur Board 10th Exam Pattern - Scoring System (+/- Marking)
According to the most recent plan, the Manipur Board 10th exam will include the following types of tests:
- There are two formative assessments, each of 40 points, given for each topic in September and November.
- December will bring one summative assessment worth 80 points. The marks assigned to each assessment category are displayed in the table below.
- Schools are required to provide the test score reports without fail.
- If the environment is unsuitable for an offline exam, the schools may evaluate the pupils through an online assignment, project, or interview.
- For Classes 9 and 10, the board must receive comprehensive FA and SA scores as well as each student's overall grade; if this is not done, the student will not be allowed to take the Class 10 board test.
- Schools are required to retain the FA and SA answer booklets for each class so that they can be turned in whenever the board requests it. After the student takes the HSLC exam, they must be kept secure for a period of three months.
