CBSE Class 10 Hindi Exam Pattern 2026 includes Reading (Unseen passages), Grammar, Literature (Textbook), and Writing (Rachnatmak Lekhan). Class 10th Hindi exam will be for a total of 100 marks, where 80 marks will be for the theory paper and 20 for internal assessment. The CBSE Class 10 Hindi subject is divided into two parts - Hindi A and Hindi B. Both subjects have different syllabi. Hindi A provides students with knowledge of Hindi prose and poetry. It introduces students to Hindi literature. Hindi B provides students with knowledge of language and communication skills. Both the parts are of 40 marks each. In the first part, there will be an unseen passage and unseen poetry of 5 marks each. From Literature, there will be 2 questions based on the Pros and Poetry for 7 marks each. In Part B of the paper, there will be prose, poetry, very short questions, and supplementary based questions of 20 marks. Besides this, there will be questions for paragraph writing, resume writing, letter writing, and advertisement writing. All these questions will be of 20 marks.
