Structure of CBSE Class 12 Economics Sample Paper 2026
The structure of the latest sample paper will be the same as the main exams. You can refer to the information about the types of questions that will be asked during the board exams here:
- The question paper will be conducted for 80 marks.
- The duration for the paper will be three hours.
- The question paper will be divided into two sections: Section A – Macroeconomics and Section B – Indian Economic Development.
- It will include 20 MCQs for 1 mark each.
- Four short-answer type questions will be included for three marks each to be answered in 60 to 80 words.
- Six short-answer type questions will be included for 4 marks each to be answered in 80 to 100 words.
- Last but not least, four long-answer type questions will be included for 6 marks each to be answered in 100 to 150 words.
