CBSE Class 12 Sociology Syllabus 2026 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education . The Sociology syllabus includes 11 units, among which The Story of Indian Democracy, Globalisation and Social Change, and Mass Media and Communication are the important ones. The Sociology syllabus is divided into 2 books, Indian Society and Social Change and Development in India. Both books are provided with 40 marks each. In addition, there will be a project work of 20 marks in the CBSE class 12 Sociology exam. The board has designed the course in such a way that it provides students with social awareness and embraces social diversity in society. The students are advised to complete the syllabus in advance.
