GSEB SSC Exam Pattern 2024: As per the latest changes introduced in the exam pattern, the board had decided to follow the NEP 2020 policy and increased the number of objective type questions. Also, the number of descriptive type questions had been reduced. An increase of 20 to 30% will be made in objective type questions and a decrease of 30 to 20% will be introduced in descriptive type questions category. Other than that, students can now appear for 3 compartment exams instead of 2. All the students are required to score at least 33% marks to pass the examinations. GSEB SSC Blueprint 2024 Marking Scheme

According to the GSEB SSC blueprint 2024, 100 is the highest score for each subject. Each subject's minimum passing score is 33. And, each subject has a three-hour time limit. There will be two sections in the exam: 50 marks each for Part A and Part B. Part A evaluates the candidates' theoretical knowledge. Following are the steps to compute the percentile rank:

• Step 1: Subtract the percentile from 100.
• Step 2: The result is multiplied by the total number of students in that category who took the exam.
• Step 3: In order to determine the rank, the number from Step 2 is divided by 100.
