The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is responsible for conducting the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations across the Union Territory. The board finalizes and publishes the syllabus for both classes, which students can access online in PDF format through the official website. To understand the marking scheme and question format, students are advised to review the prescribed exam pattern and practice using previous year’s question papers regularly. JKBOSE 12th Board 2026 will be held from February 23 to March 28, 2026, for the summer zone. The class 10th exams will be held from February 17 to March 10, 2026.
After the completion of the exams, JKBOSE will declare the Class 10 and Class 12 results on its official website, tentatively in April 2026. The board will also issue official marksheets to all successful candidates and conduct compartment examinations for students who are unable to secure the minimum passing marks. JKBOSE Board Registration 2026
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will release the JKBOSE 10th, 12th registration form 2026 in December 2025 (tentative). Students appearing for the JKBOSE Board exam must complete their registration to appear for the exam. Under the supervision of the administrators of their respective schools, candidates must fill out the JKBOSE Board 2026 registration form. Students will be charged a late fee if they do not fill their registration form by the deadline.
JKBOSE Board Admit Card 2026
The JK Board issues the admit cards a few weeks before the commencement of the exams. The JKBOSE 10th Admit Card 2026 will be released online. The JKBOSE 10th Admit Card 2026 will be released in the last week of February 2026. Students appearing for the JKBOSE annual regular exams must collect their admit cards from their respective school heads/ principals. Students are advised to carry their JKBOSE Admit Card 2026 on the day of the examinations to the exam centers, and if they fail to do so, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. JKBOSE Board Exam Pattern 2026
The JK board follows a set exam pattern for each syllabus. All the exams will be of 100 marks, except Science subject in class 10th. The Science exam will be of 84 marks as 16 marks will be reserved for practical exams. For class 12th, students will have to appear for internal assessment, practical exams, and theory exams. They will have to write theory exams for 70 marks, as internal assessment will be of 20 marks and practical exam will include 10 marks. JK board prescribes the updated syllabus for all subjects of class 10th and 12th. The students can check the syllabus by visiting online. They can download the syllabus PDF for each subject. According to it, the students can check the syllabus and prepare a schedule to cover up all the topics. JK board is likely to release the JKBOSE 10th Result 2026 and 12th result in April/May 2026. The result will be made available on the official website.
