For an Examination requiring a practical assessment, a student has to score a minimum of 25 marks in the theory examinations while he/she has to score at least 11 marks in the practical to secure the minimum passing marks. How to Calculate the Percentage from Karnataka 2nd PUC Grades?

To convert Karnataka 2nd PUC grades into a percentage, follow these simple steps:

• List all grades and their corresponding grade points for the six subjects.
• Add up the grade points of all six subjects. Divide the total grade points by 6 (total number of subjects) to get the average grade point.
• Divide the result by "10’ and multiply the result by ‘100. ’
• This result will be the percentage scored by that particular student.

Example Calculation
A student receives grades A1, A2, A1, B2, B1, and C1, corresponding to the grade points 10, 9, 10, 7, 8, and 6.

• Sum of grade points = 10 + 9 + 10 + 7 + 8 + 6 = 50
• Average grade point = 50 ÷ 6 = 8.33
• Percentage calculation = (8.33 ÷ 10) × 100 = 83.3%

From the academic year 2025-26, the Karnataka government has decided to bring some changes to both the Secondary School Leaving Certificate, SSLC (Karnataka Board class 10) and Second Pre-University Course, 2nd PUC (Karnataka Board class 12) exam system. The first change that it has introduced is from the 3 annual exams to be conducted, students will get a chance to choose the best score among the marks scored in these three attempts. Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam Pattern 2026

The following table includes the comprehensive exam pattern for English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The Karnataka board will conduct the 2nd PUC exam for 100 marks. The students will get 3 hours to attempt all questions in the question paper. In some subjects, there will be a practical examination. Karnataka 2nd PUC Supplementary Exams

The Karnataka board will conduct the supplementary exams for Karnataka 2nd PUC in April 2026. The board will release the Supplementary exam forms after the release of the result. The students who fail in one or two subjects will be able to fill out the form and appear for the supplementary exams. The board allows students to sit for supplementary exams for only two subjects. While submitting the form online, students will have to pay the supplementary exam fee for each of the subjects. To sit for the exam, students should carry the supplementary exam admit card issued by the board.
