What Happens If a Student Fails to Achieve Passing Marks in the KSEAB SSLC Exams 2026?
Students who do not achieve the required passing marks in the KSEAB SSLC Exams 2026 are given multiple opportunities to improve their scores. To ensure no student is left behind, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has introduced a three-exam system, allowing students to clear their failed subjects within the same academic year.- KSEAB SSLC Exam-1: Main SSLC Examination. This is the primary board exam conducted at the end of the academic year, where students appear for six subjects, including three languages and three core subjects.
- KSEAB SSLC Exam-2: Supplementary Examination. If a student fails any subject in the main exam, they can reappear in the supplementary exam, held shortly after the Exam-1 results are declared. This allows students to quickly improve their scores without waiting a full year.
- KSEAB SSLC Exam-3: Special Examination. For students who do not pass the supplementary exam, the board conducts a special examination as a final opportunity within the same academic year. This ensures that students do not lose a year and can still advance to higher education.
