MP Board Passing Marks for Class 10 Theory and Practical are 33%. The theory papers are conducted for 75 marks and practical papers are conducted for 25 marks in MP Board for class 10th students. Students must score a minimum of 33% marks in both theory and practical exams to pass successfully. Students who fail to get the minimum passing marks will have to sit for the MP Board 10th Supplementary Exam 2024. Detailed information about the number of marks that the students secure in the board exams will be mentioned in the results published by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education.
In theory exams, students must score 25 marks to be considered as a pass. In practical exams, students need to secure 8 marks to be considered a pass. Only the students who secure the minimum passing marks in all the subjects will be provided with the original marksheet along with the passing certificate to continue their education in the next class. MP Board Passing Marks for Class 10 Theory and Practical 2024: Division System
A division system is followed by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education to award the students an overall division that will be reflected in their official marksheet. Students can refer to the division system from the table given below:

MP Board Class 10 Grading System: Additional Subjects
Some additional subjects are added at the high school level in MP. The evaluation for these subjects will be done in grades:
- The marks obtained in the additional subjects will not be added to decide the division of the students.
- Marks obtained by the students in additional subjects will be reflected separately in the marksheet and the subject will also be mentioned in the certificate.
- Project work and internal exams will be evaluated by school authorities.
- The marks obtained by the students will be converted into grades by the schools following the grading system adopted by MPBSE.
- The record of these grades will be submitted to MPBSE so that the grades can shown in the marksheets.
Students who failed to secure the MP Passing Marks for Class 10 Theory and Practical will have to sit for the supplementary exams. The passing marks must be secured separately in theory and practical exams according to the system laid forward by MPBSE. Students have to make sure that they are passing in different subjects individually and also their division must be Third or above.
