MP 10th Grading System 2026

The grading system is a nine-point grading system that ranges from A+ to E, where A+ is the highest grade and E is the lowest. The MP Board grades the students based on their marks with A+, A, B+, B, C+, C, D+, D, and E. To pass the MP Board Exam 2026, students are required to score a minimum qualifying grade of D+ in each subject as well as in aggregate marks. MP Board Class 10 Grading System: Additional Subjects

Some additional subjects are added at the high school level in MP. The evaluation for these subjects will be done in grades:

  • The marks obtained in the additional subjects will not be added to decide the division of the students.
  • Marks obtained by the students in additional subjects will be reflected separately in the MP Board 10th Marksheet 2026 , and the subject will also be mentioned in the certificate.
  • Project work and internal exams will be evaluated by school authorities.
  • The marks obtained by the students will be converted into grades by the schools following the grading system adopted by MPBSE.
  • The record of these grades will be submitted to MPBSE so that the grades can be shown in the marksheets.

Students who failed to secure the MP Passing Marks for Class 10 Theory and Practical will have to sit for the supplementary exams. The passing marks must be secured separately in theory and practical exams according to the system laid forward by MPBSE.
