Tamil Nadu Class 12 Science Toppers 2025 list consists of the names of the students who have shown exceptional performance in the board exams, according to the results published by DGE Tamil Nadu. Usually, the students who score more than 90% marks in the board exams are counted among the toppers. Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2025 will be released on May 8, 2025 at 9 AM to be checked by the students on the official website of DGE Tamil Nadu. Along with the results, some results statistics will also be released by the concerned authority. The results for all three streams will be released together on the official website to be checked as of now. • May 7, 2025: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is set to announce the TN HSE Result 2025  in the online mode on May 8, 2025 at 9 AM. The board has confirmed the date and time for result declaration via the official website. Once announced, students can download their TN HSE Plus Two Results through tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in.

In the academic year 2023-24, around 8.51 lakh students registered for the exams. TN Class 12th Results 2023 was declared on May 6, 2023, with a pass percentage of 94.03%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.38% while boys had a pass percentage of 91.45%. There was a 4.93% increase in the number of girls who cleared the exam. The pass percentage for girls and boys was 96.38%, and 91.45% respectively. There was a transgender candidate who also cleared the exam.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Revaluation 2025

Students who are not satisfied with their marks secured in TN 12 result 2025 can apply for re-evaluation of the results. For the same, they have to fill out the application form for Tamil Nadu class 12 revaluation through their respective schools. Only the students who have applied to obtain a scanned copy of the answer sheet will be provided with the form. Students will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 505 per subject. The request for re-evaluation will be processed within 10 to 15 days. The TN plus two results 2025 for revaluation will be declared in June 2025, tentatively.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Passing Marks Criteria 2025

Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) prescribes the TN 12th passing marks 2025 as per which the minimum qualifying marks are 35% of the total marks that every board exam appearing student must secure. The maximum marks for the Tamil Nadu 12th exam 2025 are 600 marks. Students will have to acquire at least 210 passing marks out of 600 marks to clear the exams in aggregate. A minimum of 15 marks out of 70 marks in theory and 35 in a total of theory, practical, and internal assessments have to be scored. For Languages and Subjects that are non-practical, the students must secure a minimum of 25 out of a total of 90 marks. For vocational subjects that have practicals only, students must obtain a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 marks in the practical.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Supplementary Exams 2025

Students who fail to secure the minimum number of marks in the board exams will have the opportunity to appear for the supplementary exams. DGE Tamil Nadu will soon release the Tamil Nadu 12th Supplementary Exam Time Table 2025 . The PDF of the timetable will be available on the official website of DGE Tamil Nadu. Along with the timetable, an official notification regarding the supplementary exam will also be published. Students must fill out the application form for the supplementary exam following the application timeline mentioned in the official notification. Only the applications that are submitted before the deadline will be considered and the admit card will be provided to only those students to have successfully submitted the application fees for the same.

Passing marks for the supplementary exams are the same as for the initial board exams. Students can check the TN 12th Supplementary Result 2025 from the official website of DGE Tamil Nadu. The results will be published after the successful conclusion of the supplementary exam. The result can be checked from the official website in July 2025 if the exams are conducted in June 2025. A new marksheet will be distributed among the students who will successfully pass the supplementary exams.
