CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026 is released on the official website of CBSE Academics. The CBSE 12th Mathematics exam pattern 2026 consists of 4 sections. There will be more competency-based questions, which will make up 50% of the paper. The question paper will have 55% objective-type questions, 25% application-based (case/ source-based), and 20% descriptive (short and long answers). The total marks for the theory paper will be 80, and the remaining 20 marks will be for internal assessment and practicals. A total of 6 units are included in the curriculum. The unit with the highest amount of weightage is Calculus. Students must complete their CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Syllabus 2026 well in advance to have enough time to revise.
