CBSE Class 12 Physical Education Question Paper Pattern 2026

The CBSE Class 12 Physical Education question paper comprises a total of 37 questions. Check out the detailed Physical Education Marking Scheme Class 12 here:

  • The theory paper will be conducted for 70 marks.
  • The exam duration will be three hours, and 15 minutes will be provided to read the question paper.
  • The question paper is divided into 5 parts.
  • Section A consists of questions 1-18, carrying 1 mark each, and is multiple choice questions. All questions are compulsory.
  • Section B consists of very short-answer type questions for 2 marks each. You are required to attempt only 5 questions, and the word count should not exceed 60 to 90 words.
  • Section C consists of short-answer type questions for 3 marks each. You need to attempt only 5 questions, and the word count should not exceed 100 to 150 words.
  • Section D consists of 3 long-answer type questions for 4 marks each, and these are case studies.
  • Section E consists of very long answer-type questions for 5 marks each. You need to attempt only three questions in this section, and your answer must not exceed 200 to 300 words.
