CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Sample Paper 2023-24 can be downloaded by visiting the official website of CBSE Academic. The duration of the paper will be three hours. The maximum mark allotted to the students for the paper is 80 marks. 20 marks will be provided for internal assessment. The question paper is divided into five different sections. Students can also check the CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Syllabus 2023-24 along with sample papers. The marking scheme PDF is also listed on the official website. It includes the correct answer to be written while answering the question paper. Make sure that you are solving the question paper serial-wise to avoid confusion.

How To Download CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Sample Paper 2023-24? 

The Central Board of Secondary Education will upload the PDF of the sample papers according to the different academic years on the official website of CBSE Academic. Check the sample procedure to download the sample papers for the different years from the pointers given below: 

  • Step 1: Students will first have to visit the official website of CBSE Academics at cbseacademic.nic.in
  • Step 2: The home page will open. Now, they have to click on the option called Sample Question Paper displayed. It will be available on the menu bar.
  • Step 3: A drop-down menu will appear on the screen. Now, click on SQP 2023-2024.
  • Step 4: A new menu will open where the students have to click on the option called Class XII.
  • Step 5: A new page with a list of subjects will open on the screen. Students can click on the SQP option to download the question paper and the MS option to download the marking scheme.

CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Sample Paper Structure 

There is a specific structure of the Mathematics sample paper which will be the same for the board exam to be conducted by the CBSE authorities. The students must consider the structure of the CBSE Class 12 Sample Paper 2023-24 as per the pointers given below:

  • The duration of the Mathematics paper will be 3 hours and the maximum marks allotted will be 80. 
  • CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Sample Paper contains - five sections A, B, C, D, and E. 
  • It is compulsory to attempt all the sections.
  • Internal choices may be provided in some questions as per the decision made by the CBSE authorities.
  • Section A has 18 MCQs and 02 Assertion-Reason-based questions of 1 mark each.
  • Section B has 5 Very Short Answer (VSA)-type questions of 2 marks each.
  • Section C includes 6 Short Answer (SA)-type questions of 3 marks each.
  • Section D has 4 Long Answer (LA)-type questions of 5 marks each.
  • Section E has 3 source-based/case-based/passage-based/integrated units of assessment of 4 marks each with sub-parts.
